IT DEPENDS ON YOUR FAITH

Luke 7:50 Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." (NIV)

All the people who received miracle from the Lord Jesus in the Bible was through their faith. Bible has the records. The Master couldn't do many miracles at His hometown because the people lacked faith. Through a careful study of this subject we can tell that miracle, salvation and blessing depends on ones faith.

One time Jesus was in the boat with His disciples and fell asleep. Suddenly a strong wind came against the boat such that it was about to drown. His disciples woke Him up. He spoke to the raging wind and it stilled. He asked His disciples a question in Luke 8:25 "Where is your faith?" he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, "Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him."

What was required for them to calm the storm was their faith not Jesus' presence. Someone would say "I am born again, I go to church, I serve in the church yet all these things happens to me." The presence of Jesus in your life is not what will get the job done but your faith. It depends on your faith. There are those who died with sickness, some with poverty, some in anxiety even though they had Jesus in their lives. 

In Luke chapter 8 the Bible records for us a woman who had a blood-flow for twelve years. When she heard of Jesus she said to herself "if I am able to touch His cloth I shall be healed." And she proceeded and did just that and got her miracle. After the Lord had made her to tell the story His response to her was, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace." - Luke 8:48
It was not Jesus' presence that healed her but her faith. Whatever it is you want to get done, it depends on your faith. Put your faith to work!

PRAYER

Father I thank You for the measure of faith that I have received. I grow my faith strong by exercising it. As I put my faith to work it produce for me what I desire and declare, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
