DO GOOD NOW

Galatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (NIV)

At times people regret about the good they did not render to others. They were in a position to help but failed to, at the end they wished they had helped. Don't wait until it is too late, do good now.
A young man saw an old woman carrying a heavy load on her head. He thought to himself to help her, but an evil thought stopped him. While he was battling with his thoughts whether or not to help the old woman a young lady came by and helped her with the load. The young man felt bad that he didn't help her. Doing good can be too late. Do good now.

I love the way Apostle Paul expressed it in Galatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people...
Doing good is an opportunity, if you don't take it, it may go away and never return. The needs of others are your opportunities and privilege to do good. Don't take pride and glory in helping people. Just do it, it's just an opportunity. It could be you in need of that help.

Do good now. Find a need and meet it. When an opportunity present itself to do good, don't shy away from it. It's your opportunity. Now is the best time, do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers as you have the opportunity. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Father I thank You for preparing and positioning me to meet the needs of others. I am enabled by your Spirit and made sufficient to meet needs and do good at every opportunity, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

You have to learn how to move on from disappointment, failings, defeat, unfavorable circumstances and opposition. You will have to move on and move away from some oppositions and enemies. (NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. (NIV) The scriptures declare that our God raises the dead. When someone dies it seems it's all over, that nothing more can be done. It suggest that death is the final. But the Apostle Paul says in his letter in our theme scripture "we rely on God who raises the dead."  If the dead can rise then nothing shall be impossible.
