LIVE IN HIS NAME

John 20:31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. (NIV)

Jesus' purpose of coming to this world was to give life to mankind. Man died spiritually through Adam but made alive through Christ. In John 10:10 Jesus said "...I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
Obviously it was a spiritual life, and it is the God-kind of life. We live this life in His Name.
What does it mean to live in His Name? It means to live in His stead or place. We live His life for Him. The life has the same quality in us as it is with Him. It didn't become different in us. We just live it in His stead. Hallelujah!

Our theme scripture says "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." His Name is His total Person. His total Person means everything that made Him who He is; His glory, power, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, love etc. To have life in His Name is to live in His total Person; to live in all of His wisdom, knowledge, understanding, glory, power etc. 

This is the Glorious life you were called into. You were called and entrusted to live eternal life to the full. Let this be your consciousness and live it as your reality. Live life in His Name. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Through the Word of God I have accurate understanding of the Gospel of Christ and what it means to me. Through my faith in Jesus I have and live His life in His Name, living in all of His goodness, blessings, glory, power, wisdom, knowledge and understanding, bringing honour and fulfillment to the Father, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

He named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land." (NIV) In life you have to learn to always move on. You have to learn how to move on from disappointment, failings, defeat, unfavorable circumstances and opposition. You will have to move on and move away from some oppositions and enemies. (NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 14th SEPTEMBER 2025 IF THE DEAD CAN RISE 2 Corinthians 1:9 Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. (NIV) The scriptures declare that our God raises the dead. When someone dies it seems it's all over, that nothing more can be done. It suggest that death is the final. But the Apostle Paul says in his letter in our theme scripture "we rely on God who raises the dead."  If the dead can rise then nothing shall be impossible. What men dread the most is death, and through the fear of death many are still held in bondage today.
