FOR HIS GOOD PURPOSE

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. (NIV)

God actively works in and through us by His Spirit. And He does for His good purpose. He works in, through and for us because He loves us. But another reason is because of His purpose. He doesn't want His purpose thwarted in our lives. Beyond His love for us is His purpose. Beyond our dreams and desires is His purpose. 

At times the things that happen for us is not because we prayed or go to church but because of His purpose. He leads us in the paths of righteousness for His Name sake (His purpose). When we understand this and function in the light of it, we have more rest. Unnecessary burden is lifted from us because we know our life is not our idea. 
Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Your life is beyond you. It is more about Him and His purpose. He has a purpose for your life not you yourself. And He did not leave you all by yourself to fulfill His good purpose. But works in you to will (the desire and inspiration) and to act (to do accordingly) in order to fullfill His good purpose for your life.
With this you can function from rest and peace knowing that the work in your life is not solely down to you but a shared-responsibility with God. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I am not solely responsible for the success of my life. For it is God My Father who works in and through me both to will and do in order to fulfill His good purpose for my life. Amen Hallelujah!

You have to learn how to move on from disappointment, failings, defeat, unfavorable circumstances and opposition. You will have to move on and move away from some oppositions and enemies. (NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. (NIV) The scriptures declare that our God raises the dead. When someone dies it seems it's all over, that nothing more can be done. It suggest that death is the final. But the Apostle Paul says in his letter in our theme scripture "we rely on God who raises the dead."  If the dead can rise then nothing shall be impossible. What men dread the most is death, and through the fear of death many are still held in bondage today.
