CONTINUE IN HIS GRACE


Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast. (NIV)


You were saved by grace through your faith in Jesus Christ. The life of God you received you got through faith in Jesus. You can only continue through faith. 

Human being likes efforts, works and achievement. They want their efforts to be counted for them. They like to earn things. But God doesn't have blessings that man can earn. His salvation for man is an act of love, which brought us grace by which we were saved. Salvation is all of God, grace is all of God. It is by grace that you have been saved through faith and not your works. So continue in His grace.


One of the reasons some Christians are unable to work in the blessings of God is that they want to do something to earn it, no. A life of grace is finding out what God has done for you and live in it. The natural man likes burden and load. He always want to qualify for something. If a friend bought him a gift he would start thinking about the good he did to have qualified for such a gift. He is not free-things conscious, but grace is free.


Through the word of God you learn how to live in grace. You were saved by grace you can only continue in grace. Hallelujah!


CONFESSION


It is by God's grace that I am saved and not of myself or work. Through my faith in Jesus Christ I received eternal life and all the blessings thereof. Through this same grace I continue to enjoy the glory, blessings, power and inheritance of salvation, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. (NIV) The scriptures declare that our God raises the dead. When someone dies it seems it's all over, that nothing more can be done. It suggest that death is the final. But the Apostle Paul says in his letter in our theme scripture "we rely on God who raises the dead."  If the dead can rise then nothing shall be impossible.
