GUARD YOUR HEART AGAINST WORRYING

Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. (NIV)

The Bible instructs us to guide our heart, and one of the things we should guard against is worrying. Your heart is your life. The state of your life is directly connected to the state of your heart. Once you are unrest inside it shows outside. Guard against worrying.

The word 'guard' in the above scripture connotes setting something up to stop entering. It means to set up a guard on your heart to stop the contraries from going in. And one of your such contraries is worrying. The only thing you can set up in your heart to stop worries from going in is the word of God. 

If you allow worries into your heart it will affect your whole life. Your life would be full of worries and unrest. Unrest in home, business, marriage, ministry, workplace, everything that concerns you would experience unrest. Set a guard on your heart, refuse to worry.
Above all else, guard your heart against worrying. Praise God!

CONFESSION

From My heart comes the beauty of my life. I disallow evil, negative and worries in my heart. Through meditation I set the word of God always on my heart as guard to keep out worries in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. (NIV) The scriptures declare that our God raises the dead. When someone dies it seems it's all over, that nothing more can be done. It suggest that death is the final. He named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land." (NIV) In life you have to learn to always move on. You have to learn how to move on from disappointment, failings, defeat, unfavorable circumstances and opposition. You will have to move on and move away from some oppositions and enemies.
