(KJV) The city of God referred here is Zion and by extension the Church of God, of which every Christian is a member. So the scripture literally refers to God's children. You can simply say "Glorious things are spoken of you oh children of God!" Amazing things God has spoken of us in the Word. The Word speaks of you. Only the word of God speak glorious things about you, the world doesn't. People won't speak glorious things about you, even when they do most of the time it is in pretense. Don't let what the world says about you define you. There are those who are always concerned about what others say about them. They allow the perception of others define their lives. When people say negative things about them they feel bad about themselves. But that shouldn't be. God did not create...
