When there is turmoil and unrest in a place those living there seeks to relocate to a safer place. But very few ever thought of relocating to Christ. Christ is a place as much as your city is a place. It is a tangible place in the spirit where you can live in and experience its atmosphere in this physical world.  Our theme scripture says "For in him we live and move and have our being." Who does it refer to? Christ. Christ is not only the Son of God, the Anointed, the Sent One by also a place. A place with its own atmosphere. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 30th MAY 2025 A BLANK CHEQUE John 16:23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME.(NIV) It doesn't cost God anything to give you anything you ask because Jesus' death is the true cost of everything He's given you. By His death He paid for your sins and by His resurrection He brought you into salvation and every good thing there is. When the Lord Jesus said "the Father will give you whatever you ask in my Name" it was based on a legal ground, God had to, because Jesus earned every good thing for us. When we pray in His Name, we ask in His stead. It is as though Jesus were asking the Father by Himself, we ask on His merit not ours. And as such the Father cannot say no. The Lord Jesus declares that WHATEVER you ask the Father in my Name He will give you. That's a blank cheque. The ball is in your court. Ask Him whatever you want....

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th MAY 2025 CONTINUE IN IT James 1:25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and CONTINUES IN IT —not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it —they will be blessed in what they do. (NIV) The perfect law that gives freedom is the law of the Spirit of life - Romans 8:2. The law of the Spirit of life sets you free from the law of sin and death. Having received the life of Christ the Spirit of God brought you into the liberty of God's sons. That means you are free to be who you are in Christ.  As you look into the perfect law it shows you who you are in Christ, and the Bible says as it shows you continue in it. James 1:25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and CONTINUES IN IT —not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it —they will be blessed in what they do. (NIV) Every child of God has Angels at his disposal to serve him. But how do they serve us? Not by talking to us or giving us advice or instruction. But by carrying out instructions from our words. They serve us, do things for us by our words. Whenever we speak in line with the truth of the Gospel of Christ they receive instructions from our words.  Angels obey our words but not every of our word. They only obey us in the light and provision of the Gospel. Whenever we speak contrary to the Gospel they do nothing, for they understand perfectly the Gospel of Christ. There are those whose Angels are not active because they only become active for us by our words.  You have Angels at your disposal, dispatch them! You don't have to call them and say go or come. They know what to do when you speak...

The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation." With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. (NIV) God has become our salvation, deliverance and blessings. But it takes joy to draw out the benefits of salvation. Where is this wells of salvation? It's within you. It is Holy Spirit in you. John 7:38-39 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. Rivers of living water flows from the wells of salvation within you, which is the Holy Spirit Himself. (KJV) For several reasons we suffer loss in the course of our journey through this world. It may not be due to our mistakes but it does happen. And it could happen many times during our time here but God restores us each of those times. God restores us from time to time otherwise we would have been left with nothing considering how much and how many times we have suffered losses. For instance, when we are asleep we know nothing about what goes on, we only wake up and because conscious of our environment again. But God never sleeps nor slumbers He watches over us. And even though Naaman urged him, he refused. (NIV) The account of Naaman being healed of leprosy by Elisha the man of God and how that his servant Gehazi got Naaman's leprosy for his greediness has lot of lessons to teach us. Naaman the commander of the Army of the king of Aram became leprous, in search for cure he was referred to Elisha the man of God who gave him instruction which he heeded and got healed. Naaman brought gifts to Elisha in appreciation for healing him but the man of God refused the gifts even though Naaman had pleaded with him. The man of God blessed him and he left. (NIV) It is not good when a Christian doesn't convey good news. Jesus' death, burial and resurrection for man is good news because of what it accomplished for man. Yet we find Christians who are always distributing bad news. It's important you recognize who you are; a messenger of good news.  When we got again it is good news for us, and we have been commissioned to preach good news to all. We are God's messenger of good news. Consequently if the world does not know God's good news we are responsible.  There is a good news for the sick -- Jesus bore your infirmities and diseases. For the poor there is a good news -- Jesus became poor that you might become rich in Him. There is good news for the sinner -- Jesus took your sins and died your death. There is ...

(NIV) We only need to be conscious of God's presence and willingness to help. When we do our outlook on situation and circumstances becomes different because we are conscious and acknowledge that God helps us.  He says "I will help you." That means He recognizes that we need help. He knows how we are, where are are and what we face. He knows we need help. But for some of us, we tend to make God our last resort for help. When trouble surface in our business, marriage, ministry or other areas we are quick to turn to men or money or influence but God is the only true help. God could use Angels, men, money or circumstances to help you. But Angels, men, money or circumstances cannot use God to help you. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley  21st MAY 2025 SPEAK IN TONGUES UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED 1 Corinthians 14:2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. (NIV) The fact that when we speak in tongues we speak directly to God should inspire us to speak more and often in tongues. Prioritize speaking in tongues and speak in tongues very often.  When you pray in tongues you utter spiritual truths, called mysteries. They are mysteries to those outside the Kingdom -- demons and those who are not born again. And even unless there is an interpretation for those who are born again they can't understand you. Howbeit in the Spirit you utter mysteries; hidden truths, secrets and wisdom ordained for your glory. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley  20th MAY 2025 AN OFFERING AND SACRIFICE TO GOD Ephesians 5:2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (NIV) The Lord Jesus truly gave His life as an offering and sacrifice to God. But what kind of offering was it? What kind of sacrifice? It was a sin offering. Romans 8:3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be A SIN OFFERING. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, It was a sacrifice for sins. Hebrews 9:26,28 Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. (NIV) The Gospel of Jesus was written and made available to us so that we could read, accept it and believe that Jesus is indeed the Messiah, the Son of God and have life in His Name. Life in His Name is the most important aspect of the Good news; more than the fact that He died for us, more than the fact that our sins have been forgiven on account of His Name, more than everything else is the fact that we have life in His Name.  The life we live as a new creation is His very own life. We live in His Name! And that means to live in His stead. Living in His stead means to live in His Person, personality, power and place. (NIV) Some people argue that this above scripture is not material or physical riches but spiritual. But their argument is not in line with the provision or true meaning of the Gospel. The good news of what Jesus came to do for us has spiritual and physical implications. Man struggled and lived in poverty because of his spiritual state, which was separated from God, poor and wretched.  The Lord Jesus restored us back to God, and as sons. We are heir of God, and the whole world and everything in it belongs God and by extension to us. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley  17th MAY 2025 LET THINGS OF THE KINGDOM COME INTO YOUR MIND Jeremiah 51:50 Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind. (KJV) God admonished the Israelites who went into exile to remember the Lord from afar off where they were. And profoundly He said "and let Jerusalem come into your mind."  Jerusalem is symbolic of the temple, presence and city of God. So when God said "let Jerusalem come into your mind" He meant carry within your heart the temple, presence and city of God even though you are far away.  Over here for the new creation we are at home here on earth in this physical body but away from the Lord over there in heaven. But within us is the Kingdom of God and being conscious of this reality is important to walking in it. (KJV) Our minds play a very vital role in our lives. Our mind is responsible for our thoughts, words and actions. Some people think the mind only thinks, that words and actions are not dependent on the mind. But we cannot express anything anyway without our minds, be it thought, words or actions.  When we receive God's Word it dawns in our heart as truth but until it dawns in our mind as truth it cannot get a hold of us nor being expressed in our lives. God will keep him in perfect peace not him who has received His Spirit but him whose mind stays on Him. There are people who have the Spirit of God but still they are not at peace. (NIV) One of the characteristics of a wicked person or wickedness is being eager to do what is evil. Those are not born again whose hearts are seared are eager to carry out evil schemes. But the Lord Jesus has redeemed the Christian from all wickedness and has purified him for Himself making him eager to do what is good. (NIV) The mind is an important tool responsible for our expressions; how we react and relate in any situation is a function of our mind. Our theme scripture above says "with minds that are alert and fully sober." We can dictate the state of our mind, what it processes and how it functions. We can set our minds to be alert, that is, vigilant.  Mental alertness is crucial. Most especially being mentally alert about spiritual things. We can direct our minds and get it to focus on a particular direction or subject at a time. We can choose to be mentally alert, vigilant and conscious of spiritual things. Indeed He has chosen us out of the world and has brought us into His Kingdom, though not visible to the optical eyes it is real in our hearts and tangible in the realm of the spirit. Brethren, there is a real spiritual Kingdom to which we belong. All you see is not all there is to us. There is much more to us than this physical world. (NIV) All that God require of us is commitment to His Word, it doesn't matter what or who is against us and their evil intentions against us God is able to turn it around for our good. You may face trials, and opposition from people but don't let it dampen your faith. Holding on to your faith in the Word is all that you need. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS  A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 8th MAY 2025 PERFECTION --- A RESULT OF THE WALK Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. (NIV) God's statement to Abraham in this above scripture is very clear "walk before me, and be thou perfect."  Perfection is a result of a walk with God not a requirement for the walk. God said to Abraham "walk before me, and be thou perfect." He didn't say "be thou perfect, and then walk before me." Religion says "you have to be perfect in order to serve God or walk with Him." Religion tells us that God requires our perfection in order to serve Him. God did not say so. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 7th MAY 2025 TESTIMONY IS SIGNIFICANT Revelation 12:11 They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. (NIV) This scripture refers particularly to the testimony of the Gospel of Jesus. The Lord Jesus commands us to testify about His death, burial and resurrection. -- John 15:26-27. By the blood of Jesus we have triumphed over satan, sin and the world. When we testify about Jesus' death, burial and resurrection the resultant effects and victories are manifested unto us afresh.  That being said and explained above, testimony in Revelation 12:11 also means that we overcome when we testify about the good things He does for us. (NIV) Faithfulness is God's nature. His faithfulness means His commitment to His Word. It means His integrity as relating to His Word.  The reason we are where we are is because of His faithfulness. The reason we are still in our walk with Him is His faithfulness. When we are faithless to His word He remains faithful to His word concerning us.  God's faithfulness is His own nature, He cannot betray or disown Himself. His faithfulness towards us is not so much about us (whether or not we deserve it) but His integrity to His Word. He renews His faithfulness to His Word when we become faithless and breach His Word. (NIV) Everyone of us in the body of Christ belongs to each other. You belong to me, I belong to you just as much as your legs as well as your hands belong to you. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. (NIV) Reading the above scripture it is clear that all that Jesus went through and everything He accomplished in the earth was for us. Our iniquity was laid upon Him and He was crushed for our sins so we would live in His righteousness. He was wounded so we could be healed. He became poor so we could become rich, He was punished so we could have peace with God. Your righteousness, blessing, salvation, prosperity, name, every good thing is of Christ. When we learn to live in this reality we will really begin to live the Christian Life. (NIV) Apostle Paul in his letter to the church at Philippi narrated his experiences, in Philippians 4:12 He said "I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want." And he added in Philippians 4:13 "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." That was his secret; through Him who gave him strength.  It is not so much about what we go through but with whom we go through it. We can do anything or go through anything through Him who gives us strength.
