BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 31st AUGUST 2024 BUILD YOUR LIFE ON THE ROCK Luke 6:47-48 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. (NIV) There is a way to live life and not fall or fail beyond recovering. Jesus said it is by hearing and putting His word into practice. Your life is like a building under construction. How well and solid your building turns out depends on the material you use. When a heavy flood comes to a locality it goes against every house in that locality, some of the houses would fall, others would remain standing. It's the same flood but the difference was in how well each house was built and the material used. You can't blame the flood it came against all the houses; the floo...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 30th AUGUST 2024 YOU CAN TRUST HIS LOVE Ephesians 2:4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, (NIV) All that we are and what we have received from God is not based on our qualification. All that we shall ever be and have will not be based on our qualification but His Love and mercy towards us. You can trust His love. His love means care, protection, help etc. His love is life. All we need is God's love and we have it in full. It is therefore on our part to rely on it. His love for us means we are the object of His attention, and are in the center of His plan and purpose. How wonderful it is to know that the Almighty God has plan and purpose for each one of us! And how comforting it is to rely on His plan and purpose! You don't experience God to trust Him, rather you trust Him to experience Him. You trust His love to experience it. You can experience the manifestation of His love in your life. Don...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th AUGUST 2024 HE'S GRACIOUS AND COMPASSIONATE Psalms 145:8 The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. (NIV) When we do something that should get God angry and attract punishment or disadvantage us He seems to not take notice or record of it. He is slow to anger. He doesn't vent His anger on us as we think He does. He has compassion on us.  God is not judgmental as we think He is. It is not yet time for judgment. He's gracious and compassionate towards us.  His graciousness means He does things for us and gives us things we do not deserve. In His grace He gave us His life and nature, making us exactly like Him. His grace gave us everything good. We are saved by Grace and enjoy the benefits and blessings of salvation by His Grace. His Grace means His goodness is turned toward us.  His compassion seals or secures everything for us. His compassion means He won't allow us go through punish...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th AUGUST 2024 ENLARGE YOUR PLACE Isaiah 54:2-3 "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. (NIV) God wants you big and influential. But that can't happen until you recognize it and work in that direction. He wants you to spread out to the right and to the left, and He instructed you in His word to enlarge the place of your tent. In other words that means 'expand your scope.' Your scope of influence is the limit to God's work in your life. Don't make your world small; expand your reach. The place of your tent includes your workplace or business circle. Enlarge it; do more with your business, expand your territory at work; do more with your work. Reach more people.  Reaching more people is eas...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 27th AUGUST 2024 THE SPIRIT OF HIM Romans 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. (NIV) First thing to note is that you are a spirit. Secondly, the Holy Spirit lives in your spirit (your heart). The Holy Spirit owns you and not you owns Him. That tells you that He owns your life and how you live it; you are accountable to Him.  Our theme scripture says "And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you..." The Spirit of Him lives in you. He has something to do in you. He not only give life to your mortal body but also energizes your spirit (inner being). He governs your spirit and physical body. The Spirit of Him is your essence, and how your life turn out to be is dependent how much you yield yourself to Him. What becomes of your spirit and body...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 26th AUGUST 2024 NO CURSE CAN TOUCH YOU Numbers 23:23 No curse can touch Jacob; no sorcery has any power against Israel. For now it will be said of Jacob, 'What wonders God has done for Israel!' (NLT) We live in a world where people are very diabolical. They employ every evil power against another. They consult evil forces to lay curse on people. As a Christian you shouldn't be afraid nor concerned about such people and their wicked acts because God has already given His Word concerning you in this regard. He says "No curse can touch you; no sorcery has any power against you." When two people get involved in conflict you would hear one say to the other, "we shall see!" By that he meant he was going to do an evil thing to the other fellow or place a curse on him. Such people believe in and live their lives by diabolic powers. They so trust in and invoked demonic powers. But God says no curse can touch...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th AUGUST 2024 GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS Lamentations 3:23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (NIV) God renews His faithfulness every morning. He is faithful to His plan for your life. He is faithful to His Word concerning you. He watches His plan to come to pass in your life. He watches His Word to come to pass in your life.  However, there are situations where it seems that we do not understand Him nor His plan, especially when we think we are in His will yet things seems not working right. We wonder but we do not question His faithfulness. For example, We know it is His will that a married woman should conceive and give birth, yet a woman is married for years but no child. We may not understand why but we know God is faithful to His will and His Word. Another word to say God is 'faithful' is God is 'committed.' God is committed to His plan and purpose for your life. Your role is to find His...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 24th AUGUST 2024 TRUST IN HIS NAME Psalms 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. (NIV) In this world everyone has what they trust in. Some it is their parents' influence and connection. Some trust in their own riches, some their fame. And still there are those who trust in voodoo power.  As a Christian you must define your trust. Just because you bear "Christian" doesn't necessarily mean your trust is in the Name of the Lord. You have to prove it in the face of adversity. Do you hold on to the Name when things are not going well? Do you maintain your trust in His Name when hard-pressed on everyside? Your sincere answer to these questions will show where your trust truly lies.  Trust means reliance. Rely on His Name. You don't rely on something that doesn't have the power to sustain you. It's important you understand the power of His Name or the pow...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd AUGUST 2024 HE IS WITH YOU Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (NIV) This above scripture reminds us about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who King Nebuchadnezzar thrown into the blazing fire because they refused to bow down to his idol. There was a fourth man who joined them in the fire. It was an Angel of God. Daniel 3:25 He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods."  If God allowed you to get into the fire it is because He intended to go into it with you, deliver you and claim glory to Himself. Tough times would come, challenging moments would arise, persecution will mount against you but God says He will be with you. You might not feel He is with y...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 22nd AUGUST 2024 IN HIM WAS LIFE John 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. (NIV) This above scripture referred to Jesus when He walked the earth, it says 'in Him was life.' This simply means Jesus was the embodiment of life. He housed and express life. Of course it was eternal life.  The Bible records that God was in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. God was the life in Christ and that life was and it is the light of all mankind. God is eternal life. And He dwells in you in His fullness. This should be your reality and the basis by which you relate in life.  This eternal life enables you to see life in the light of God, in other words it gives you the light of life. John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 21st AUGUST 2024 WAIT EXPECTANTLY FOR HIM Psalms 42:5 Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, my Help and my God. (AMP) If you waited for God on something you prayed about but didn't receive it at the time you thought you needed it then you would understand what David tries to express here. Within him (his soul) was cast down. That's depression but he stirred himself up by speaking to himself.  It could be tedious to wait. If you ever waited on a queue for a long time you know how tough it is to wait. Waiting on God could be tough too, even in situations we know His time is not yet.  Being cast down, depressed is not God's will for us yet there are times we find ourselves there. People may try to talk us up. But it is only our decision to get out of depression that would change anything. Kin...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 20th AUGUST 2024 BY CONSTANT USE Hebrews 5:13-14 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. (NIV) Christian maturity is paramount and compulsory for anyone who wants to fulfill destiny in the Kingdom of God. There are lots of things one wouldn't understand and unable to apply in his life if he is not matured. Our theme scripture talks about the teaching about righteousness. Many Christians still struggle with the teaching of righteousness. When we say "you are righteous because Jesus gave you His righteousness" they do not understand, and wonder about all the sins they still commit today. It takes maturity to understand righteousness and some other teachings of the Gospel.  There are Christians who sincerely desire to grow unto maturity in Christ bu...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 19th AUGUST 2024 DON'T BE COMPLACENT Amos 6:1 Woe to you who are complacent in Zion, and to you who feel secure on Mount Samaria, you notable men of the foremost nation, to whom the people of Israel come! (NIV) The Lord addressing this particular people of Israel said woe to them because they were complacent. Disaster had befallen Israel yet there were some of them who were very complacent and careless.  They gave themselves to and continued in revelry. And did not concern themselves with the plight of Israel nor grieve over her. Amos 6:6-7 You drink wine by the bowlful and use the finest lotions, but you do not grieve over the ruin of Joseph. Therefore you will be among the first to go into exile; your feasting and lounging will end. The Lord decreed that they would go into exile as punishment for their complacency. How many of us do the same today! When things go wrong in the church we feel unconcerned, and other times we cri...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 18th AUGUST 2024 LEARN TO ADAPT Romans 12:16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits. (AMP) The easiest way to live in harmony with people is to learn to adapt to their personalities. Don't expect people to change for you. Don't see yourself as the standard that everyone else has to adjust to. You will only and always find yourself in constant trouble with people.  While you are here on earth, and even in heaven you will have to live with people. People are not the same. Thinking that anyone should function as you and act only in ways that won't offend you is believing a lie. Don't build your life on such a mindset. Even your children whom you raised with your mindset would have a different mindset. No one is like you. No one ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 17th AUGUST 2024 HE SATISFIES YOU EARLY Psalms 90:14 Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days! (NKJV) God want you to be established early in life. He doesn't want you behind time or destiny. He takes pleasure when you are ahead not behind in life. He satisfies you early, that means, He makes you success early in life.  There are people who became what God wanted them when they were old. Even though they became it they couldn't do much nor enjoy their days as much as they should.  The resultant effect when He satisfies us early, Moses said "That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!"  God want us to rejoice and be glad all our days. He doesn't want us gloom, sad and unsatisfied through life. You won't be truly joyful and glad when you know what you should be that you haven't.  We know joy is of the Holy Spirit and it is independent of circumstances. But ther...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 16th AUGUST 2024 BE CONTENT WITH YOUR PLACE Luke 2:36-37 There was also a prophet, Anna, the daughter of Penuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, and then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. (NIV) The success of our ministry in the sight of God is not measured by how much we travel, how many people we reach, how much we accomplish, the buildings and properties we acquire, no! Our success in life and ministry is measured by how well we stay in His will and place, and how well we perform in the place He's given us whether big or small in the sight of men.  The Prophet, Anna, whom we just read about in our opening scripture spent the most of her years in the temple worshipping, fasting and praying. The Bible says "She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting an...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 15th AUGUST 2024 HE WILL GIVE YOU REST 1 Kings 5:4 But now the LORD my God has given me rest on every side, and there is no adversary or disaster. (NIV) There are people who have the desire to do much more for the Kingdom but are often hindered by many challenges and oppositions. They end up giving their attention, resources and energy to fighting oppositions, and consequently not able to fulfill their desire to further the Kingdom.  King Solomon said that God gave him rest on every side. That was a necessary requirement to building the temple of God. He couldn't build the temple in a time of war. David had it in his heart to build a temple for the Name of the Lord. But he didn't have the rest to do so, he spent almost all his life fighting wars.  Read what Solomon said; 1 Kings 5:3 "You know that because of the wars waged against my father David from all sides, he could not build a temple for the Name of the LORD his ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 14th AUGUST 2024 THAT ROCK WAS CHRIST Exodus 17:6 I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink." So Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel. (NIV) In yesterday's article we learnt how that Moses struck the rock twice instead of speaking to it as the Lord had instructed him. Water came out, he got the result. But that result could not justify his disobedience nor rid him of the consequence. One thing was significant about that rock, that Rock was Christ.  Christ was to be struck once (killed once). And after that we only need to speak or confess the blessings, salvation and glory of His resurrected life and walk in it.  God first asked Moses to strike the rock, Exodus 17:6 I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink." So Moses did this in the sight of t...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 13th AUGUST 2024 RESULT DOESN'T JUSTIFY DISOBEDIENCE Numbers 20:8 "Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink." (NIV) Some people after disobeying authority, even spiritual authority and do things their own way would try to defend their disobedience with the results they got. Result doesn't justify disobedience. If God allowed it to work it is because of His Name and the disobedience may definitely attract consequence. That was the case with Moses.  Moses couldn't complete his mission to bring the Israelites into the promised land for his disobedience. God told him to speak to the rock and water would come out. Instead he struck the rock, disobeying God's express instruction yet water came out and the people and t...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 12th AUGUST 2024 HAVE A PROPHET Hosea 12:13 The LORD used a prophet to bring Israel up from Egypt, by a prophet he cared for him. (NIV) Every child of God should have a prophet in His life, it is God's plan.  A Prophet is the man of God who brings you God's Word that meets your need, and He proclaim or prophesy God's Word, will and purpose concerning your life. Everyone that will succeed in his Christian journey needs such a ministry of a Prophet.  That's one of the reasons we go to church. In the church the man of God brings us God's word and prophesy God's will and purpose concerning our lives.  By a prophet God brought Israel up from Egypt out of slavery and by a prophet He cared for him. Have a prophet in your life.  A Prophet is not just the Pastor of the church where you worship. He should be your Prophet. Your Prophet is the man of God who bring you God's word and that word satisfies your soul and...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 11th AUGUST 2024 WISDOM, RIGHTEOUSNESS, SANCTIFICATION AND REDEMPTION 1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: Christ is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption.  In Him we have wisdom, that is, a revelation of the knowledge and reality of glory, blessings and principles of the Kingdom.  He is our righteousness. In Him we have right standing with God without a sense of condemnation or inferiority. In Him we are righteous before God and produce works of righteousness.  He is our sanctification. We are sanctified; consecrated, cleansed, made pure and holy in Him. He sets us apart unto God as sacred, for His glory and praise.  In Him we have redemption, the remission of sins. He is our ransom from the penalty of sins. He is our exchange payment; the atoning sacrifice for our sins.  Think about...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 10th AUGUST 2024 THE FATHER'S EXTENSION John 15:26 "When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father —the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father —he will testify about me. (NIV) Some people do not really know who the Holy Spirit is. Some say He is the power of God, some say He is the presence of God, others say He is like a cloud. The first thing to note is that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person.  God is One and expresses Himself in three Personality the Father, Son (the Word) and Holy Spirit. Yet the three are One and the same Person. 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Reading our theme verse intently we would be able deduce who the Holy Spirit is. John 15:26 "When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father —the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father —he will testify about me. Read ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 9th AUGUST 2024 GIVING AND RECEIVING Philippians 4:15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; (NIV) The principle of giving and receiving is a fundamental principle of blessing in the Kingdom of God. Often times we want to receive but never thought of giving first. The principle is "giving and receiving" not "receiving and giving." You are to give first before receiving. Everyone has something to give, even something little. And that could just be enough for multiplication. Learn to give to God's work, church projects and the needy. An important aspect of giving is that our givings are deposited into our heavenly bank account. When we got born again into the Kingdom an account was opened for us. Any good we do here is credited there. Every of ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 8th AUGUST 2024 LIGHT IN HIS ORDER John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (NIV) While Jesus walked the earth He said He was the light of the world. And also declared that we are the light of the world. We are light as He is; we are light in His order. We are His kind of light; the extension of His light. If anyone wanted the light of Jesus today they comes to us; the Christian.  In this physical world there are different kinds of light, some shines brighter than others. When God created the heavens and the earth He made two great lights; one greater than the other. Genesis 1:16 God made two great lights —the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. In this world we are the greatest light. We are Jesus kind of light and He has ordained us ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 7th AUGUST 2024 CONFIDENCE ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT 1 John 4:17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. (NIV) We can have confidence on the day of judgment if in this world we actually live like Jesus. The above scripture declares that in this world we are like Jesus. And that's true. But unless we manifest or live our lives today like Jesus did we would not have confidence on the day of judgment. Our boldness on that day will rest on the fact that in this world we lived as He would.  1 John 2:6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. This verse is a command. If you claim to live in Christ you must as well live as He did. We can't claim to live in Him or be like Him and not live as He lived. We have in the scriptures how Jesus lived, and untill we live like that we should not think that we will be bold on the day of judgm...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th AUGUST 2024 DON'T WITHHOLD GOOD Proverbs 3:27-28 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, "Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you" — when you already have it with you. (NIV) Doing good is an opportunity and a privilege. When you truly understand this you won't withhold doing good when it is in your ability to. Galatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. It's your privilege and opportunity to do good. Don't become arrogant and full of pride when you are in the place to help. It could be you needing that help but you are in a position to be of help.  Let us observe verse 27 of our theme scripture again, Proverbs 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Notice it says to whom it is due, not...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 5th AUGUST 2024 HE TELLS YOU THE FUTURE John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (NIV) You would hear people say "nobody knows tomorrow, no one knows what the future holds." But that's not true of those who has the Holy Spirit.  One part of the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to tell us the things to come. The later part of our theme verse says "...and he will tell you what is yet to come." God doesn't want you to live in the dark about your future. He doesn't want you to be unsure of what the future holds. Through His Spirit He shows you the future to come so that you can prepare for it. The future actually belongs to you but if you don't prepare for it you cannot possess it.  God doesn't lead us in uncertainty and assumption. We are One wi...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th AUGUST 2024 HE WILL MAKE A WAY Isaiah 43:18-19 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (NIV) There is a wilderness in the path through life. Wilderness is that time or path in life when things seems not going your way. It's that time when people, events and circumstances seems to be working against you. It's a season of drought even when you are doing much. Passing through wilderness is not as a result of sin, it is a way that leads to the promised land.  There is a promised land for everyone here on earth. It could be achieving your dreams, getting married, success in ministry, coming into your place of riches and abundance. There is a juncture in wilderness where it seems there is no way ahead. Maybe you have been there or there right now. A time when you don't...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 3rd AUGUST 2024 LIFE REQUIREMENTS MET 2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: (KJV) First it's important to note that God called us to glory and virtue. And all that is required to live such life is already granted us in Christ.  All things that is required for life and godliness has been granted us in Christ. Life in this context is not eternal life. It simply means life on earth. In other words all that is required to live life in a Godly way here on earth has been granted us through our knowledge of Him.  Life requirements is met in Christ. At times we find ourselves wondering how we are going to meet up with this or that. But all that we will ever need in this life is already made available to us in Christ, and all that we need to manifest Godliness has also been granted us. And we...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd AUGUST 2024 IT'S DONE WHEN YOU SAID IT Matthew 17:20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ’Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (NIV) The Lord Jesus said "you can say to this mountain, ’move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." When you say to the mountain 'move from here to there' don't observe if it has moved or moving. The mountain here means anything that poses against you. It could be sickness, retrogression in business or trouble in your family. If you command the sickness to go, the proof that it is gone is the fact that you have said it. If you said it then it is done. That's how faith works, not by sensory perception. Maybe you have been praying about something or making decrees and it is not wor...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS (Happy New Month) A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st AUGUST 2024 A TREE THAT GIVES LIFE Proverbs 15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit. (NKJV) The Bible says that the last Adam, Jesus Christ is a life-giving spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:45 So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. Everyone who is born again is in the order of the last Adam, Jesus Christ. That means he is a life-giving spirit. You are a life-giving spirit. When the Lord Jesus walked this earth He gave life people and the circumstances that surrounded them. But how did He give Iife? With His Words; He gave life with His mouth.  For example Lazarus who was dead for four days. When Jesus came to his grave he gave life back to him by His words. He called him out of death. John 11:43-44 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out, hi...
