BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 31st OCTOBER 2024 THE LAW IS NOT FOR THE RIGHTEOUS 1 Timothy 1:9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, (NIV) What we just read is interesting. It blows the mind to think that the law was not made for a righteous person. A righteous person doesn't need the law of Moses. The Bible just tells us who the law was made for.  The law was made for the sinner. We will read again and into the next verse. 1 Timothy 1:9-10 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers —and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine The...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 30th OCTOBER 2024 COMFORT OF THE SCRIPTURE Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. (KJV) The Bible was written and preserved for us so we could read and learn not only from the spiritual aspect of it but also to learn from the characters in it. The Bible records lot of people whose real lives portrayed characters to learn from. We have Adam, Noah, Enoch, Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and so on.  The life of Enoch teaches that one could walk with God in such a great fellowship and could be translated into heaven. He is the first person from whom we learnt that one could leave this world not by death. After him, Elijah, who went into heaven in a whirlwind.  We learned faith and patience from Abraham. In faith he obeyed God's voice to leave his hometown to a place that God would show him. He went witho...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th OCTOBER 2024 CROSSED OVER FROM DEATH TO LIFE John 5:24 "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. (NIV) The death Jesus referred here is spiritual death; that is, separation from God who is Himself life. He says anyone who hears His word and believe Him who sent Him has eternal life and won't be judged. The judgement for sin is death (spiritual death first, then physical).  Having believed in Jesus you will not be judged, there is no pending judgement of sin for you. Because Jesus Christ has been judged for you; He took your sin and died your death, and came back to life. And has given you that life; His life. Consequently death is in your past; it's not something that could happen again, you have been judged in Christ, you have passed from death to life. Your now-realm is life. And this is your right t...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th OCTOBER 2024 WHEN YOU PRAY Mark 11:23-24 "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ’Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (NIV) When you pray a lot happens. You are inspired, you become confident and hopeful. When you pray you make power available. When you pray demons leave your environment. When you pray Angels attend to you and what concerns you.  When you pray your prayer is powerful and effective.  James 5:16 ...The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. What matters the most when you pray is not the power you make available, not the demons that leave nor the Angels who get to work, but your words and how you relate with them. How you relate with your words in prayer matters the...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 27th OCTOBER 2024 THE FULNESS OF THE BLESSING Romans 15:29 And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ. (KJV) The fulness of the blessing of the Gospel of Christ simply means everything you could find in God. It means everything good. Having received the Holy Spirit you have received the fulness of God. That's the fulness of the blessing of the Gospel; the Deity alive in ad through you. There are innumerable blessings in Christ and all of them are available to every Christian but it takes knowledge, understanding and consciousness to live in them. Apostle Paul said to the church "I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ." He knows what he was talking about, he understood it and was conscious of it. You can walk in the fulness of the blessing of Gospel of Christ. In the book of Ephesians, Paul told us that God has blessed us in...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 26th OCTOBER 2024 WORK BY FAITH, LABOR BY LOVE, ENDURANCE BY HOPE 1 Thessalonians 1:3 We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. (NIV) There are three things which last forever and are the greatest forces in this world and eternity; faith, hope and love. And the greatest of these is love. The Christian life is lived in the light of faith, hope and love. In the Kingdom of God work is by faith, labour is by love and endurance is by hope. Your work in the Kingdom if not by faith has no reward. Your work (manifestation) of power, deeds, purpose should be by faith, that is, acting out the truth of the Gospel of Christ. Otherwise it is fruitless and has no reward. Your labor in the Kingdom should be in love otherwise it has no reward. Don't just labour in the Kingdom, let your labor stem from your love for the Kingdom, l...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th OCTOBER 2024 FORGIVENESS IS A MUST Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (NIV) There are people who refuse to forgive when offended. They repeatedly talk about the harm done to them, and harbour grudges against the fellows. But according to the Bible forgiveness is a must. You must forgive those who offend or hurt you. It is compulsory. Our theme scripture says "forgive as the Lord forgave you." He forgave us unconditionally; He absorb us of our sins. We should do the same to others. True forgiveness is absorbing or blotting out the wrong done and its consequences. Hence, when we forgive we should also forget about the wrong done to us. If we say we forgive and yet hold the wrongs against the person we haven't forgiven. That's not how the Lord Jesus forgave us. When He forgave us He blotted out our sins out ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 24th OCTOBER 2024 IMITATE THEIR FAITH Hebrews 13:7 Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. (NIV) All that is written for us in the Bible is for our learning so we could know what to do in a similar situation. In the Bible we have great men and women of faith who through faith accomplished a whole lot. And the Bible implore us to imitate them. Hebrews 11:32-34 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. These our faith fathers through faith wrought all manner of victories. And...

THE WONDERS OF WISDOM Chapter 12 episode 2

YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE When people get involved in adultery, whether having affair with another man's wife or having affair outside their marriage they try to give reasons to excuse themselves. If only they understood that there is no enough reasons to excuse adultery. You have no excuse. You can't say because of the way he or she treated you, or any problem that may be at home. It is your home, you started the home. No one promised you that you won't have problems in your home. You should fix your problems instead of going to another. You have no justifiable reason for commiting adultery oh man or woman! It is like when a thief is caught and then tries to justify his stealing with hunger. He says "I stole because I was hungry." If every hungry person should steal everyone would be a thief. There is no excuse for stealing, there is no excuse for adultery. Proverbs 6:30-33 People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving. Yet if he i...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd OCTOBER 2024 HE IS STILL THE SAME Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (NIV) There are times some of us wish Jesus would repeat the miracle He performed in our lives or in the lives of others in the past, and when it doesn't happen we wonder why. There are also times when we are in the middle of a challenge we forget that He did something greater for us in the past. We wonder why He is not doing something about this. Truth is, it seems He is doing nothing now because we forgot He did something greater for us in the past. Recall your past, even your recent past, bring to mind what the Lord has done for you. He is still the same. He can still do for you today. Another important factor is that we do not take note of the seemingly little things He does for you. We think miracle is only when the dead come back to life. That your efforts are yielding results is worth taking note and thanking God...

THE WONDERS OF WISDOM Chapter 12 Episode 1

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this. As we have a wayward woman so we have a wayward man. One who leaves their partner to go after another. There is no justifiable reason for it. Don't be an adulterous woman or adulterous man.  As a woman avoid married men if you don't want to destroy your own soul. The easiest way for anyone to start his or her hell on earth is to be an adulterous person or have an affair with a married person. Why love another man's wife? Why love another woman's husband? Why? Avoid this, spare yourself doom. If you would heed wisdom it will save you from the adulterous woman or man. Proverbs 2:16-19 Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman, from the wayward woman with her seductive words, who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God. Surely her house leads down to death and her ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 22nd OCTOBER 2024 CHRIST; THE ESSENCE OF YOUR LIFE Romans 8:10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. (NIV) This above scripture simply means that though your body and life is subject to death and other consequences of sin the Spirit of God gives you life because of Christ's righteousness if Christ is in you. In other words, if Christ is in you what you are or have or any other thing pertaining to you wouldn't count, the only thing that counts is Christ in you.  Christ in you is your essence. This means, Christ in you is the definition of who you are, where you are, what you have and what you can do. A precise understanding of this would take your focus off yourself unto Christ. You wouldn't count what you can or cannot do, what you have or don't have, your good deeds or wrongs deeds.  The Bible says the only that counts...

THE WONDERS OF WISDOM Chapter 11 episode 2

WISDOM ACTS; ACT NOW If you know what to do and when to do it but don't do it you are not wise. Wise people do what they should do when they should. Wisdom acts, act now. Act concerning your planned project, the business, career pursuit. Act now!  Don't procrastinate, don't lazy around. Wisdom is not lazy. Don't say "I am planning." Don't plan too much, you can't plan everything. Begin with the plan you already have and other plans would unfold. Don't say "I am waiting for the right time." NOW could just be the right time. Proverbs 6:9-11 How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest — and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man. One of the resultant effects of not acting on wisdom is poverty. Don't be poor, act on wisdom. DON'T WATCH, DON'T LOOK Some people look for the most conducive time an...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 21st OCTOBER 2024 A NEW HUMANITY Ephesians 2:15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, (NIV) In the book of Genesis we have the account of the creation of man. Adam, the first man transgressed God's law and fell short of the glory and standard of God. Thus a new humanity was needed.  Many centuries later God chose Israel to be His nation, His treasured possession. Through Moses He gave them the law which made them unique and separated them from the rest of the world unto God. The law was the dividing wall. When Jesus came into the world He removed the law and made the Israelites and the rest of the world (the Gentiles) one; creating a new humanity. Let us read Ephesians 2:14-16, For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by set...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 20th OCTOBER 2024 SEE BEYOND YOUR PAST AND PRESENT Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. (KJV) For some people all they can see is their past and present. To them the future is always unknown. They do not realize that if you don't envision your future disaster and distress may await you in the future. There is always a future whether or not you envision one. And when a default future comes it's always full of calamities.  See beyond your past and present into your future. Envision your tomorrow. How do you want your tomorrow to be like? See it! The Bible says in our theme verse "Where there is no vision, the people perish:.." This clearly tells us why people fail in life. Lack of vision leads to failure. And one who sees only his past and present cannot have a vision of a glorious future. Do not envision your future through the circumstances of your l...

THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 11 episode 1

WISDOM IS NOT LAZY We have established that wisdom is action. Wisdom is not mere words but deeds. Wisdom is a producer; it produces results. Speaking just words and being idle is not wisdom; wisdom acts. Wisdom is not lazy. Wisdom shows you the right path and inspires you to walk in it. Wisdom is not "I know" then you are waiting for something to happen. Wisdom doesn't wait, it causes things to happen. Wisdom is a propelling and prevailing force. It causes you do. THREE WAYS OF ACTIVE WISDOM Wisdom sows, wisdom harvests and wisdom saves. We learnt this even from the ant. Proverbs 6:6-8 Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. If the ant gathers food at harvest and stores up provisions in summer it simply means it sowed. You can't harvest unless you have sown. We find three ways of wisdom in this illustration of the ant. They are; 1. Sow...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 18th OCTOBER 2024 PUSH OUT YOUR VISION Isaiah 66:9 Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?" says the LORD. "Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?" says your God. When God brings to the moment of birth He gives delivery. Like God when you bring to the moment of birth give delivery. A man who conceives a vision is like a woman who just took in. At that initial stage it's just blood, as though there is nothing in there. But it continues to grow until it becomes a baby and finally the nineth month (maturity) and then delivery. If you conceived a vision see it in this light.  Your vision starts with only you and it starts small as though it's nothing. It might seem to you that you are going no where with your vision but don't despise your little beginning. Continue to nurture and feed your vision until the nineth month (maturity and delivery). No one see the baby in the womb untill ...

THE WONDERS OF WISDOM Chapter 10 episode 1

WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. But a foolish man withhold good.  DO NOT WITHHOLD GOOD Proverbs 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Good is an element of righteousness. Wisdom too is an element of righteousness. One of the things that sets one apart as wise and righteousness is good deeds. If you find yourself in a position to render help don't withhold it. A wise person doesn't act unbecoming.  If you find a person who hoard to himself you find a foolish person. Greed stems from foolishness; they are relatives. It is lack of understanding that leads to greed. If you understand God's wisdom; God's perspective you would give, you would do good. Wisdom does g...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 17th OCTOBER 2024 GOD WILL REMEMBER YOU Genesis 8:1 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. (NIV) It was God who asked Noah to make an Ark and stay inside while the flood destroyed the wicked world of his day. After the flood the Bible says "And God remembered Noah." Did God forget Noah? Did He just realized that Noah and his family were inside the Ark?  Let us read the above scripture in THE MESSAGE translation. Genesis 8:1 Then God turned his attention to Noah and all the wild animals and farm animals with him on the ship. God caused the wind to blow and the floodwaters began to go down. The underground springs were shut off, the windows of Heaven closed and the rain quit. Inch by inch the water lowered. After 150 days the worst was over. (MSG) God turned His attention to Noah. It was about turning His at...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 16th OCTOBER 2024 HE THAT WINS SOULS IS WISE Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. (KJV) It's interesting that the Bible implies that wise people should win souls otherwise they are not wise. He that wins souls is wise; he that win no souls is not wise. Do you know why? Only a wise person do now what will benefit him later or sows now to harvest later. He who wins souls invest in the Kingdom of God. Soul winning is the only opportunity to directly involve in God's business. The salvation of souls is God's only business. Anyone who is born again and filled with the Holy Spirit should be wise enough to save souls. If you save souls with God today you are investing into your eternal future. If you understand the eternal destiny of man; his eternal destination which is everlasting life with God or everlasting condemnation with satan you would be challenged to win men...

THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 9 episode 1

WISDOM FROM HEAVEN James 3:17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Earlier in the chapter we said there are mainly two kinds of wisdom; human wisdom and God's wisdom. Human wisdom is earthly wisdom. God's wisdom is heavenly wisdom.  Earthly wisdom is inspired by the standards and spirit of the world. While heavenly wisdom is inspired by the standards and Spirit of God. Heavenly wisdom is unveiled and unleashed into the heart of a man by the Holy Spirit.  1 Corinthians 2:10,13 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. Heavenly wisdom is spiritual realities. Speaking heavenly wisdom is speaking spiritual realities. Spiritual things a...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 15th OCTOBER 2024 HE DELIGHTS IN YOUR PROSPERITY Psalms 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. (KJV) The Lord not only want you to prosper but also take pleasure and delight in your prosperity. He delights in your prosperity; it makes Him glad and it is pleasurable to him. He gladdens God's heart to see you move from one level of success to another. Progress, success, victory and prosperity in life is God's plan, desire and design for you, and it is something that delights Him.  There are people who are still not so sure whether or not God want them to be prosperous. Some erroneously believe prosperity will take them away from God. That's absurd! No good thing can become bad or result in bad when handled rightly. Prosperity is good and comes from God, all you need do is hand...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 14th OCTOBER 2024 WISDOM; KNOWLEDGE; UNDERSTANDING Proverbs 24:3-4 By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. Wisdom, knowledge and understanding are relatives. If one understand and rightly apply them would make his life beautiful.  God's Word is the ultimate wisdom. There are diverse ways people see wisdom. And there are many people who claim to be wise, but true wisdom is the word of God. Anyone who does not have the word of God in him is not wise. He might be wise in his own eyes and in the eyes of people but such wisdom won't cause him to do much relevant and lasting things.  Everyone's life is like a house under construction, and the only way to build one's life to last and endure the storms of life and still be a success is through the wisdom of God's Word. Psalms 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house,...

THE WONDERS OF WISDOM Chapter 8 episode 1

A TREE OF LIFE Proverbs 3:18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed. Wisdom is a tree that gives life. To better understand this, let's imagine there is a tree that produces money as its fruit. You just go there and pluck money. In the same way, imagine a tree that literally gives life to people, place, thing and circumstance. If anything were dead that tree could bring it back to life. The Bible says wisdom is that tree of life.  Anything that gives life doesn't only give life but also sustains and nourishes. Wisdom gives life, sustains and nourishes.  TAKE HOLD OF WISDOM Proverbs 3:18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed. Even though wisdom is a tree of life it is only to those who take hold of her. And those who hold her fast, who never let her go will be blessed. Take hold of wisdom and hold her fast, that's where the life and blessings are.  How do you take h...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 13th OCTOBER 2024 THE BLESSING OF THE LORD Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it. (NIV) We should notice in the above scripture that the blessing of the Lord is not the same thing as wealth. For it doesn't say the blessing of the Lord is wealth but that it brings wealth. That's very important to note, because one may be blessed and not have wealth. Blessing is not an automatic wealth. One has to learn how to bring forth wealth from blessing.  The blessing of the Lord is favour, anointing, grace and ability bestowed upon you by the Lord. You can choose whether or not to bring wealth out of it. Every Christian is blessed equally but every Christian is not rich equally. The difference is in how much you make out of the blessing of the Lord in your own life. The blessing of the Lord is favour and ability. Read this -- Deuteronomy 8:18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who ...

THE WONDERS OF WISDOM Chapter 7 episode 2

PUT WISDOM INTO PRACTICE Luke 6:47-48 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. The Word of God is the wisdom of God. Jesus said if you hear His word and practice it your life would be like a house whose foundation is laid on a rock.  The only life that stands the storm, flood and torrent of life is the life built by wisdom. Build your life by the word of God. When you begin practicing the Word and its results hasn't become obvious to all, many will ridicule you; they will laugh and mock you because you acted differently and it seems foolish. But the Lord Jesus said after the flood and torrent of life those people won't be found but you will still be standing firm because your life is by wisdom. That brings to mind Isaa...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 12th OCTOBER 2024 BEFORE MULTIPLICATION John 12:24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. (NIV) The Lord Jesus made this above statement prior to His crucifixion indicating that unless He dies He cannot multiply. In His burial He was actually like a seed sown into the soil, and at His resurrection it was as though like a seed He germinated and brought forth many children to God. In His resurrection the new creation began and we all became God's children. This same principle applies in every area of life and to everyone of us. Before multiplication there is sowing and dying of seed in order to bring forth many more. Three main things happens before multiplication; sowing, waiting and sprouting.  Anything you lose or spend in order to get a better return is sowing. If you spend your time studying you are sowing. If you sp...

THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 7 episode 1

BY WISDOM A HOUSE IS BUILT Many people desire a great and successful life but not many apply wisdom in order to get there. It is wisdom that takes you to the great life. Even in the literal world it takes wisdom to build a physical house. Everyone's life is a building under construction. Everyone is building his life consciously or not. And how well, strong and resilient your life becomes depends on how you build it. If you build by wisdom it will pass the test of time and the storm of life.  God Himself built the world through wisdom.  Proverbs 3:19-20 By wisdom the LORD laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew. Everything that God created or made He did by wisdom, knowledge and understanding. These three are relatives. Knowledge is the root, understanding is the illumination or comprehension, and wisdom is the reality of one's knowledge and understanding. Your ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 11th OCTOBER 2024 WISDOM BRINGS SUCCESS Ecclesiastes 10:10 If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success. (NKJV) The above scripture says "wisdom brings success." And it is true. In the midst of difficult situations and circumstances wisdom can bring you success. If you are a businessman and things suddenly start going downward if you listen to wisdom he would bring you success. Success is with wisdom. A lot of people do not take note that a lot of people fail for lack of the application of wisdom.  There is a big difference between wisdom and the application of wisdom. The difference is success; wisdom unapplied cannot produce success. That's the reason you see a man who seems to be so wise and eloquent yet his life doesn't show it. There is no success in his life to justify his acclaimed wisdom. Wisdom is justified by results. He has wisdom to be ...

THE WONDERS OF WISDOM Chapter 6 episode 1

BRINGS PEACE AND PROSPERITY Proverbs 3:1-2 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. One of the significance of wisdom is peace with prosperity. Many people seek these two very important elements of life but not many seek wisdom yet peace and prosperity are with wisdom. These words in Proverbs 3:1-2 are King David's counsel to his son Solomon who was about to take over from him as king of Israel, he said to him "My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity." David had enjoyed peace and prosperity in the midst of wars. Take note, peace is not the absence of trouble or urest but rest and progress in spite of troubles. So David says to his son that through wisdom he could have peace and prosperity irrespective of whatever happens. Indeed wisdom brings peace and prosp...

Wisdom makes life easier when applied. This tells us why some of us has suffered for so long. The tongue is a tool with which you cut down obstacles and navigate your way through life. But if it is dull (unwise) then you will require a lot of effort to achieve a minimum success in life. When your tongue in sharpened (wise) through learning the truths of God's Word then your life will be easier.
