WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. But a foolish man withhold good.  DO NOT WITHHOLD GOOD Proverbs 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Good is an element of righteousness. Wisdom too is an element of righteousness. One of the things that sets one apart as wise and righteousness is good deeds. If you find yourself in a position to render help don't withhold it. A wise person doesn't act unbecoming.  If you find a person who hoard to himself you find a foolish person. Greed stems from foolishness; they are relatives. It is lack of understanding that leads to greed. If you understand God's wisdom; God's perspective you would give, you would do good. Wisdom does g

(NIV) It was God who asked Noah to make an Ark and stay inside while the flood destroyed the wicked world of his day. After the flood the Bible says "And God remembered Noah." Did God forget Noah? (KJV) It's interesting that the Bible implies that wise people should win souls otherwise they are not wise. He that wins souls is wise; he that win no souls is not wise. Do you know why? Only a wise person do now what will benefit him later or sows now to harvest later. He who wins souls invest in the Kingdom of God. Soul winning is the only opportunity to directly involve in God's business. The salvation of souls is God's only business. Anyone who is born again and filled with the Holy Spirit should be wise enough to save souls. If you save souls with God today you are investing into your eternal future. If you understand the eternal destiny of man; his eternal destination which is everlasting life with God or everlasting condemnation with satan you would be challenged to win men

WISDOM FROM HEAVEN James 3:17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Earlier in the chapter we said there are mainly two kinds of wisdom; human wisdom and God's wisdom. Human wisdom is earthly wisdom. God's wisdom is heavenly wisdom.  Earthly wisdom is inspired by the standards and spirit of the world. While heavenly wisdom is inspired by the standards and Spirit of God. Heavenly wisdom is unveiled and unleashed into the heart of a man by the Holy Spirit.  1 Corinthians 2:10,13 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. He gladdens God's heart to see you move from one level of success to another. Progress, success, victory and prosperity in life is God's plan, desire and design for you, and it is something that delights Him.  There are people who are still not so sure whether or not God want them to be prosperous. Wisdom, knowledge and understanding are relatives. If one understand and rightly apply them would make his life beautiful.  God's Word is the ultimate wisdom. There are diverse ways people see wisdom. And there are many people who claim to be wise, but true wisdom is the word of God. Anyone who does not have the word of God in him is not wise. He might be wise in his own eyes and in the eyes of people but such wisdom won't cause him to do much relevant and lasting things.  Everyone's life is like a house under construction, and the only way to build one's life to last and endure the storms of life and still be a success is through the wisdom of God's Word. A TREE OF LIFE Proverbs 3:18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed. Wisdom is a tree that gives life. To better understand this, let's imagine there is a tree that produces money as its fruit. You just go there and pluck money. In the same way, imagine a tree that literally gives life to people, place, thing and circumstance. If anything were dead that tree could bring it back to life. The Bible says wisdom is that tree of life.  Anything that gives life doesn't only give life but also sustains and nourishes. Wisdom gives life, sustains and nourishes.  TAKE HOLD OF WISDOM Proverbs 3:18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed. Even though wisdom is a tree of life it is only to those who take hold of her. And those who hold her fast, who never let her go will be blessed. (NIV) We should notice in the above scripture that the blessing of the Lord is not the same thing as wealth. For it doesn't say the blessing of the Lord is wealth but that it brings wealth. That's very important to note, because one may be blessed and not have wealth. Blessing is not an automatic wealth. One has to learn how to bring forth wealth from blessing.  The blessing of the Lord is favour, anointing, grace and ability bestowed upon you by the Lord. You can choose whether or not to bring wealth out of it. Every Christian is blessed equally but every Christian is not rich equally. The difference is in how much you make out of the blessing of the Lord in your own life. The blessing of the Lord is favour and ability. PUT WISDOM INTO PRACTICE Luke 6:47-48 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. The Word of God is the wisdom of God. Jesus said if you hear His word and practice it your life would be like a house whose foundation is laid on a rock.  The only life that stands the storm, flood and torrent of life is the life built by wisdom. Build your life by the word of God. When you begin practicing the Word and its results hasn't become obvious to all, many will ridicule you; they will laugh and mock you because you acted differently and it seems foolish. In His burial He was actually like a seed sown into the soil, and at His resurrection it was as though like a seed He germinated and brought forth many children to God. BY WISDOM A HOUSE IS BUILT Many people desire a great and successful life but not many apply wisdom in order to get there. It is wisdom that takes you to the great life. Even in the literal world it takes wisdom to build a physical house. Everyone's life is a building under construction. Everyone is building his life consciously or not. And how well, strong and resilient your life becomes depends on how you build it. (NKJV) The above scripture says "wisdom brings success." And it is true. In the midst of difficult situations and circumstances wisdom can bring you success. If you are a businessman and things suddenly start going downward if you listen to wisdom he would bring you success. Success is with wisdom. A lot of people do not take note that a lot of people fail for lack of the application of wisdom.  There is a big difference between wisdom and the application of wisdom. BRINGS PEACE AND PROSPERITY Proverbs 3:1-2 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. One of the significance of wisdom is peace with prosperity. Many people seek these two very important elements of life but not many seek wisdom yet peace and prosperity are with wisdom. These words in Proverbs 3:1-2 are King David's counsel to his son Solomon who was about to take over from him as king of Israel, he said to him "My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity." BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 9th OCTOBER 2024 WISDOM IS PROFITABLE TO DIRECT Ecclesiastes 10:10 If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. (KJV) Wisdom is profitable but only the wisdom you direct. Wisdom gives life, peace, pleasure, prosperity, favour, health but only the wisdom you direct.  What does it mean to direct wisdom? It means to apply wisdom. Simply put, wisdom is profitable when applied. If you are wise and do not apply it, it will not benefit you in any way. It would only make you a talker, and those who listen to you and apply it will benefit from it. If you have financial wisdom and don't apply it, you could talk and people will listen and apply it and become rich, while you yourself remain poor. Don't be so proud about what you know rather be proud of the results you produce by it. Wisdom is only profitable when applied. Start directing wisdom in your finance

WISDOM IS PROFITABLE You would rarely find anything as profitable as wisdom. The proceeds of wisdom includes riches, peace, honour and joy. Anything that wisdom produces profits. Living by wisdom prolongs one's life and keeps one in health. Those who think and talk foolishly shortens their life and destroys their health.  Another profit of wisdom is that it gives life. Wisdom gives life to things, people and circumstances. The tongue of the wise is a tree that gives life.  Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives. Proverbs 15:4 The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit. The reason some people's spirit are crushed (uninspired and unmotivated) is their perversed tongue (unwise words). But a soothing tongue (wise words) is a tree of life. Wise words gives life. TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear. Instead of turning your ears to gossip turn it to wisdom. Instead of turning your ears to feelings, fears and anxiety turn it to wisdom. Don't let negative voices dominate you. Don't dwell on

(NIV) Wisdom is a product of knowledge and understanding. When you talk and act based on knowledge and understanding, that is wisdom. So, simply put, wisdom is acting on the knowledge and understanding you received from God's Word. God's voice is God's Word. From His Word you receive knowledge and understanding. Acting on knowledge based on understanding is Wisdom. True wisdom is a propelling force. DO NOT FORSAKE WISDOM Some people forsake wisdom; they give up on wisdom. And they have reasons for that; mainly because they did not have the results of it. They wonder why their wisdom didn't produce results for them. They know wisdom rewards, wisdom should produce results but with all their wisdom they have no result to show, in reaction they gave up on wisdom.  They might have missed something --- the application of wisdom is what produce results. Another important element is faith. Add faith to wisdom. Proverbs 4:6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. ADD FAITH TO WISDOM Wisdom is the reality of things. Man's wisdom is the reality of things to a man. God's wisdom is the reality of things to God. How does God see your health? Everyone wants to be successful and attain a great feat, but not everyone is willing to go through what is required. GET WISDOM If you were a manufacturer of a product and heard that there is a machine to increase your productivity you sure would try to get it. Everyone's life is like a factory which manufactures products for consumption. You are a manufacturer, a producer of some kind of product consumed by the world. You are either producing a harmful product or helpful product for your world.  There is something that could help you produce good products if you were producing bad ones, and to help you increase your productivity if you were already producing good ones. (NIV) God has freely given us grace in Christ Jesus. That grace is the working of the life of God in and through us. And He wants us to be the praise of His grace. That means to be the proof, evidence and commendation of His grace.  The Amplified version throws greater light on this scripture. Ephesians 1:6 [So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. The expression "of His glorious grace (favor and mercy)", means His apparent grace. That through us God's grace, favor and mercy would be apparent for all to see. People won't know what grace is unless they see the result or manifestation in our lives. We are the objects of His grace, favor and mercy. It is in our lives that people

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th OCTOBER 2024 DO IT WITH JOY Isaiah 12:3 With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. (NIV) Productivity comes with joy. If you would do it with joy you would be far more productive with it. You find people who complain about not being productive in their endeavour, perhaps they have been at it for several years but no result to show for it. If you carefully examine them you would discover that they have been at without joy.  Do whatever you do with joy. It may not be lucrative but if you consistently keep at it joyfully not long it would become more productive and lucrative. Never undermine the power of joy. Our theme scripture Isaiah 12:3 says "With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation." That simply means, with joy you will draw profit from your business, with joy you will draw promotion from your job, with joy you will draw peace from your home. With joy you will bring forth prosperity. 

WISDOM WAS BEFORE ALL THINGS Wisdom is reality. A man's wisdom is his reality. No man live more than his wisdom. The wisdom of God is His own reality. He speaks and does things in the light of His wisdom; His deeds are deeds of wisdom, His words are words of wisdom. His words and deeds are His reality communicated. What God says concerning your health is His wisdom concerning your health, and that is His reality concerning your health. God's wisdom was before all things. It is through His wisdom that He created all things and spoke all of them into being. Before they came to be He envisioned and created them in His mind. They existed already in His mind He only brought them forth into the physical world through words and deeds of wisdom. Wisdom is God's mind in expression. The mind of God is the reality of God. Wisdom is the revealer of the mind of God. God's wisdom is a conveyor, communicator and a person.  Wisdom speaks in this scriptures, let's hear him. Proverbs

A competitor is someone who has some thing similar to yours or in a position similar to yours. The Bible declares that Jesus is far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name. No one is close to who He is, where He is, what He has and what He can do. He has no competitor.  Everything came from Him and actually exist for Him. He dwells on High, above the heavens. THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. If you find a person who is not wise in the ways of God you find a person who has no fear of the Lord. Psalms 14:1 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. He says there is no God. He doesn't acknowledge God nor have regard for or fear of Him. Consequently he became corrupt, his deeds are vile, he does no good. Because he has no fear of the Lord. It takes the fear of the Lord to walk in the ways of the Lord. Psalms 14:2-3 The LORD looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. It takes the fear of the Lord to do good. It takes the fear of the Lord to understand and seek God. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd OCTOBER 2024 YOU CAN'T REAP MORE THAN  2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. (NIV) Everyone likes to reap, and everyone likes the joy of harvest but one can't harvest more than he sows. You cannot reap more than you sow. Yes there is multiplication but there is limit to that multiplication. If you want a higher multiplication on your harvest you have to sow higher.  If one could multiply to ten when sown, two can only multiply to twenty. Even though there is multiplication on sowing, it has limit. That's the point here. You can't reap more than you sow. You know there are people who want great harvest but sow little. They can only get little harvest for sowing little. Increase your sowing to increase your harvest. It could be in church projects, your offerings or givings to the needy; increase on it. You can't

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st OCTOBER 2024 GOD LIVES IN ABOVE Isaiah 66:1 This is what the LORD says: "Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be? (NIV) This above verse is very clear to understand. God says heaven is His throne and the earth His footstool. That gives a clear idea of where God is. God is not inside heaven with a structure above His head. No! The heaven is His throne (seat), the earth His footstool (beneath His feet). He lives above the heavens.  Of course there are beings in heavens; the first, second and third heavens are inhabited by spirit beings. There are angels in the third heaven, and angels in His presence above. But God is not inside any of the heavens. Another verse throws light on it.
