BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 30th SEPTEMBER 2025 THE ABILITY IS IN THE WORD Exodus 14:15-16 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. (NIV) The instruction God gave Moses to divide the red Sea was humanly foolish. How could a mere staff stretched toward a sea divide it? But it happened. The rod of Moses parted the red Sea to the right and to the left.  The power was in the word God spoke to Moses not the rod. The ability was in the word. Read what resulted when Moses stretched out his rod obedience to the Word of God. Exodus 14:21-22 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th SEPTEMBER 2025 THE LAW IS NOT FOR THE CHRISTIAN 1 Timothy 1:9-10 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers —and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine (NIV) The scripture (the Word of God) tells us who the law was made for, not for the righteous. The righteous doesn't need the law of Moses to control him. He is to express the nature of God in him. The Christian is the righteous. Anyone who is born again is born of and into God's righteousness. No one can become righteous, we only receive righteousness. Righteousness is God's nature, you can't become it without Him given you. Righteousness is a gift of God. You can only express righteousness ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th SEPTEMBER 2025 YOU ARE ABOVE ALL John 3:31 The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all. (NIV) The words of the Lord Jesus are so amazing and inspiring. He says He who comes from above is above all. Above anything whatsoever. No wonder He was a wonder in the world and did amazing wonders. He was above all the oppositions that came up against Him. Like Jesus we are from above because He gave us the Life that is from above. That life changed our allegiance and origin forever. We are from heaven, in Christ we are from above. This is truly our reality. He says He chose us out of this world. Though we are in the world we don't belong to it anymore, we belong above. 1 Corinthians 15:48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heav...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 27th SEPTEMBER 2025 YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE 1 John 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. (NIV) Everyone who is born again has eternal life but not everyone lives in the light of it. Some though they have it live like mere men. And that's because they are not aware of what it really is and what it has made them. The Apostle John wrote to the believers and said "that you may know that you have eternal life." They were believers, they knew that when they received Christ they received Eternal life. Why did John say he want them to know if they already knew? What he meant is "I want you to be aware that you have eternal life." A conscious awareness; a relative reality which leads to a living experience, beyond mere theory or story. God want you to consciously live eternal life. God wants you to know with consciousness that you hav...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 26th SEPTEMBER 2025 HE CAUSES US TO TRIUMPH 2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. (KJV) God always cause us to triumph in Christ. Think about that! He not only make us victorious He also cause it to manifest. He doesn't say "you go and be victorious", and stay back Himself. No! He goes with us and causes us to be triumphant.  How does He do that? He does it through His Word. As we give ourselves to His Word, He illuminates our heart and mind with truths of the Gospel and enable us to walk in those truths. Walking in those truths is walking in victory. And also through His Spirit He unveils glory in and through us and enable us to walk in it. Walking in God's glory is walking in victory. When are faced with challenges He causes us to triumph by His Word and Spirit. Another reason we walk in victo...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th SEPTEMBER 2025 REJOICE WITH THOSE WHO REJOICE Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. (NIV) The Bible instructs us to rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn. But some of us find it difficult to express genuine happiness at the success and progress of others. When someone close to us has a cause to rejoice we don't open our heart to rejoice with them. This is not good of a Christian.  The success of other Christians is your success too. Their success is a testimony of the victory of the Body of Christ for which you are a member. Express genuine happiness at the success of others. And rejoice with them as they rejoice. If a fellow Christian achieve what you are aiming to achieve, instead of envying the fellow genuinely rejoice with him, in rejoicing with him you will tap into that grace and will be able to achieve yours too.  Don't harbour bitterness in your heart ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 24th SEPTEMBER 2025 BLESSING IS BY CONFESSION Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (KJV) Like salvation blessing is by confession. One doesn't get saved by only believing. When you believe with your heart righteousness is set in your heart. It means you agree (believe) God's Word you heard as true, and that means you have taken side with God's righteousness. But to be saved and brought into oneness with God you have to confess your believe. That's what causes salvation to manifest and its benefits enjoyed. The blessing of God is exactly so too.  The manifestation of blessing is by confession. If you read in the scriptures that God has blessed you and believed it, that means you accepted what you read as true but until you make it your confession you cannot see it manifested in your life. For example Ephesians 1:3 says "Praise be ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd SEPTEMBER 2025 YOU CAN BE RICH AND RIGHTEOUS Proverbs 8:17-18 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. (KJV) If you read Proverbs chapter 8 from verse 1 you would notice that wisdom was speaking in the chapter. Proverbs 8:1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? Then in verses number 17th and 18th wisdom says "I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness."  You can be rich and righteous through wisdom. The riches that comes from wisdom comes with righteousness, and the righteousness that comes from wisdom comes with riches.  Religion says "you can't be rich and righteous. If you have lot of money you can't serve God right." That's false and is unscriptural. The Bible teaches riches, it...

Chapter 2 ON YOUR WAY TO THE TOP

Chapter two INSPIRATION Another thing you will find on your way to the Top is inspiration. Inspiration means an arousal or being stir up from within to take an action or embark on a course. If you don't have it getting to the Top is impossible. You will rely on inspiration to go higher and higher in life. If you are not inspired or stirred up from within to be about anything don't venture into it, it might fail. If you are not inspired to get to the Top in your endeavor, career or profession you may never get there. Whatever you do and wherever you go never leave inspiration behind, if you do you may get stranded on your way. Inspiration pushes you to continue even inspite of challenges. If everything else leaves you and inspiration stays everything else would come back, because nothing and no one goes far without inspiration. It's just a matter of time they will come back. Your success on your way to the Top is tied to inspiration, you may stop succeeding if you stop being...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 22nd SEPTEMBER 2025 IT'S BECAUSE OF HIS MERCIES Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (KJV) Everyone of us takes pride and joy in what we achieve or become. Taking delight, joy and pride in what we achieve is not bad in itself but not ascribing to God His due glory and praise for His role in whatever we achieve or attain is not good. We are here because of His mercies. Of course we put in effort but even our efforts is by His grace and mercies. There is nothing that we are or have that did not spring from His mercies. On our way to our achievements we offended many knowingly or unknowingly yet we were not condemned because of His mercies. There are things we take lightly because mercies covered the consequences. You lied to your Boss about money or something, maybe you even said God is your witness y...

Chapter 1 ON YOUR WAY TO THE TOP

Chapter one YOU WILL FIND DESIRE On your way to the Top you will find desire. It is the first prerequisite to going higher until one gets to the Top. When you find the desire to be a better person or do things in a better way you belong to the Top. When you see those at the Top in your profession and you are inspired and cultivate a desire to get to where they are, you belong where they are.  When you see those at the Top in your endeavor, and see all the wrongs or mistakes they are making and desire to change it, then your place is at the Top.  When you find in you the desire to lead not for personal indulgence or ambition but to make things right and better, to serve others and show them the way to success, then you are destined for the Top.  Desire is crucial. If you don't have it, don't fake it. If you are not desirous about getting to the Top and staying there for a good reason then forget about it. Anything you do without the right desire is not right and won't end ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 21st SEPTEMBER 2025 RESULT IS ESSENTIAL Judges 6:13 "Pardon me, my lord," Gideon replied, "but if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, ’Did not the LORD bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the LORD has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian." (NIV) Result is unnegotiable in any setting of life. Gideon had to ask of results in their relationship with God. He said if the Lord is with us, where are the results? Where are the proofs? Make no mistakes about it, very few people would tolerate you for long without result. Result is essential.  Judges 6:13 "Pardon me, my lord," Gideon replied, "but if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, ’Did not the LORD bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the LORD has abandoned us...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 20th SEPTEMBER 2025 KNOWN AND REVEALED 1 Samuel 3:7 Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD: The word of the LORD had not yet been revealed to him. (NIV) The Bible says the Word of God is in letters and Spirit. That means it is written with ink but interpreted and understood through the Spirit. Trying to understand the Word of God by letters kills but by Spirit it gives life. The Word of God has to be revealed and known through the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant —not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. It is the Spirit who illuminates God's Word to us and gives us the understanding and blessings therein.  Speaking about Samuel the Bible says "The word of the LORD had not yet been revealed to him."  Eli the priest had to teach him how to receive God's Word so as to receive the understanding and illumination. Every child of...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 19th SEPTEMBER 2025 CHANGE YOUR APPROACH 1 Samuel 3:9-10 So Eli told Samuel, "Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ’Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening.’" So Samuel went and lay down in his place. The LORD came and stood there, calling as at the other times, "Samuel! Samuel!" Then Samuel said, "Speak, for your servant is listening." (NIV) At times we do the same thing over again and expect changes in our lives. If you are doing something and it's not working out right, if you are not getting the right results change your approach. Until Samuel changed his approach he didn't hear the voice of God. The young Samuel was serving under Eli the Priest. One night the Lord called his name. Each time Samuel heard the Lord called his name he went to Eli supposing he called him. The third time he heard the voice and went to Eli, the priest knew the Lord was calling Samuel. So he told him how ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 18th SEPTEMBER 2025 AN ODOUR OF A SWEET SMELL Philippians 4:18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. (KJV) In the old testament they would burn animals as sacrifice to God, as it burnt the smoke and smell would ascended. That smell was pleasant, and it indicated that a sacrifice had been offered.  However, in the new testament we don't burn animals. Our sacrifices are different. One of our sacrifices is giving. Giving is a sacrifice. Apostle Paul said the gifts he received from the Philippian church was an acceptable sacrifice with an odour of a sweet smell, well pleasing to God.  There are odour of a bad smell but our giving to the work of God and to servants of God are odour of a sweet smell. Think about a nice smelling fragrance in your house, when anyone comes in they love the sm...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 17th SEPTEMBER 2025 OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN Philippians 3:20-21 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. (NIV) If a citizen of America lived in Nigeria his present location won't change his citizenship. Citizenship is not defined by where one live but where one belongs or originates from. Our origin is in heaven. If you are a Zambian but live in Kenya that wouldn't make you a Kenyan citizen. Citizenship is not by the place one live it is by where one is from. We are from Zion and our citizenship is in heaven. Philippians 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, The Lord Jesus will come and take us home when our work here is done. And He shall transform...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 15th SEPTEMBER 2025 GROW UP IN YOUR SALVATION 1 Peter 2:2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, (NIV) To receive salvation is one thing and to grow up in it is another. The beauty, glory and blessings of salvation only become obvious and enjoyable when one grow up in it. When you got born again you were born a baby in the spirit realm. And like in the physical world you need milk to grow and develop but this time, it's spiritual milk. You will have to deliberately crave pure spiritual milk so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.  Some Christians experience stunted growth for lack of spiritual milk. Spiritual milk are the elementary teaching of God's Word, and is responsible for understanding, growth and development in the things of the Kingdom. The elementary truths of God's Word is the milk. Hebrews 5:12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be tea...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 14th SEPTEMBER 2025 IF THE DEAD CAN RISE 2 Corinthians 1:9 Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. (NIV) The scriptures declare that our God raises the dead. When someone dies it seems it's all over, that nothing more can be done. It suggest that death is the final. But the Apostle Paul says in his letter in our theme scripture "we rely on God who raises the dead."  If the dead can rise then nothing shall be impossible. What men dread the most is death, and through the fear of death many are still held in bondage today. But this same death is powerless before our God.  Our Papa Abraham understood that God gives life to the dead. Romans 4:17 As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed —the God who gives life to the dead and calls into...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 13th SEPTEMBER 2025 DON'T BE COMPLACENT (BE VIGILANT) Amos 6:1 Woe to you who are complacent in Zion, and to you who feel secure on Mount Samaria, you notable men of the foremost nation, to whom the people of Israel come! (NIV) Those in Zion referred in this above scripture are the people of God, yet it says woe to them, because they are complacent. The Word of God teaches us to be vigilant like soldiers. Soldiers are always alert whether or not they are in a middle of war, whether or not they just got a victory.  As a soldier of the Lord you are to be vigilant in time of peace or battle. Don't become complacent because you got victory. No! Always be alert.  Apostle Peter admonished the Brethren in 1 Peter 5:8 "Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devo...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 12th SEPTEMBER 2025 REFUSE TO BE WEAK Psalms 84:6-7 As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. (NIV) The journey through this world could be tedious but we have an inner strength. The word translated baka actually means weeping. The Amplified translation makes it clearer. Let's read from the Amplified translation. Psalms 84:6-7 Passing through the Valley of Weeping (Baca), they make it a place of springs; the early rain also fills [the pools] with blessings. They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power]; each of them appears before God in Zion. Til we appear before God in Zion we may go through tough times in the course of our journey. There may be valley of baka (weeping) to go through but we are not going to weep there. There may be situations and circumstances...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 11th SEPTEMBER 2025 HIS SEAL OF OWNERSHIP 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. (NIV) He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us and guarantee us what is come. All these three is by the Holy Spirit. His anointing upon us is by His Spirit, His seal on us is by His Spirit, and He gave us His Holy Spirit as a deposit guaranteeing us what is to come.  We want to look at the SEAL. His seal of ownership is on us. What is a seal? A seal is a mark, brand or personal inscription. God put His brand on us.  When a company manufactures a product they put their mark or brand on it, laying claim of ownership to it.  God created us in Christ Jesus, we are His new creation (new product) and He has put His personal inscription on us, laying claim of ownership t...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 10th SEPTEMBER 2025 DON'T RELY ON YOURSELF 2 Corinthians 1:9 Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. (NIV) The Apostle Paul talked about the hardship him and his missionary team experienced. He said "Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death." It was that tough. Then he added "But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead."  If we have only troubles that are easy for us to solve our faith in God will not grow, and our relationship with Him will not grow either. The reason we have tough times is so that we can prove God's Word in our lives, and rely on God. If you haven't learnt to rely on God tough times will teach you to. Don't rely on yourself.  Learn to rely on God in every situation. Even in situations that seems easy, for which you think yo...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 9th SEPTEMBER 2025 SEE JESUS IN THE FUTURE Hebrews 2:9 But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. (NIV) When life becomes bleak and the future looks uncertain, when you are unable to see the future you envisioned, when unable to see hope going forward, then see Jesus in the future. Only then can you revive the future you envisioned.  I don't know if you get what I am saying or trying to say. Have you ever had a dream or vision about the years to come? Let say, you had a picture of what your life would be like in five years, but those five came and gone but you did not accomplish the dream, picture or vision you hoped for. Or as the years goes by you look but still haven't become what you wanted or have what you pursued. Then that hope of becoming what you wanted begins t...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 8th SEPTEMBER 2025 ALL THINGS WORK FOR GOOD Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (KJV) Everything may not always work out the way we plan but if we function in God's love then however they work out turns out for our good. There are times we try to force things to move forward but when it doesn't work out we feel bad, only to realize later that it was for our good that it didn't work out. We hear the Holy Spirit every time we listen to Him but when we don't listen we push things wrongly but He redirects them for our good.  There are two factors which contribute for all things to work together for our good; love for God and being called according to His purpose. When we received Christ we were called according to God's purpose. We only need to recognize it and remain in His purpose. But love is quite different bec...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 7th SEPTEMBER 2025 BLESSINGS IN MEDITATION Psalms 1:2-3 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither — whatever they do prospers. (NIV) We shall examine the blessings described in the above scriptures for the person who meditates on God's Word. First, the Bible says whose delight is in the law of the Lord. Impactful meditation starts with delight. Only those who delight in the Word of God can truly meditate on it for impact and results. Cultivate your heart to find delight, pleasure and joy in the Word, it is the first step to a fruitful meditation.  To experience the blessings in meditation one has to do it intentionally with undivided attention. When you meditate on the Word as you should you become like a tree planted by streams of water. You know what that means!...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th SEPTEMBER 2025 HE FEEDS, GUIDES AND SHIELDS Psalms 23:1 THE Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack. (AMP) King David who wrote Psalm 23 was a shepherd. He knew what it is to take care of sheep. He fed them, guided them and shielded them. He told us how he fought lion and bear just to protect the sheep under his care. 1 Samuel 17:34-35 But David said to Saul, "Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. So when he said the Lord is my shepherd he knew the Lord would feed him, lead him and protect him. He knew the Lord would go after any enemy just to protect him.  The Amplified translation reads it beautifully, Psalms 23:1 THE Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall n...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 5th SEPTEMBER 2025 IT'S YOUR DUTY TO PRAY FOR OTHERS Colossians 4:12-13 Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured. I vouch for him that he is working hard for you and for those at Laodicea and Hierapolis. (NIV) The Bible tells about Epaphras who always prayed for the Brethren. He was not appointed by the church leaders to be praying for the Brethren. No! It was because he understood the body of Christ and his responsibility to pray for others. And from what the Bible says about him he did not merely pray to fulfill a duty, no! He prayed with passion, persistency, consistency and love. The Bible says "He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured." He was wrestling, contending that the Brethren might stan...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th SEPTEMBER 2025 STRENGTHENED TO STRENGTHEN OTHERS Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers." (NIV) The Lord Jesus prayed for Simon Peter that his faith may not fail, and said to him when you are strengthened strengthen your brothers. Each one of us has the responsibility to strengthen others. The unpleasant circumstances we experience and the victory we have in them is so that we can encourage and strengthen those who go through the same kind of circumstance.  Sadly, some who were strengthened in their time of hardship and discouragement do not take the responsibility to encourage and strengthen others in their time of hardship too. They wouldn't talk about the hardship they themselves had been through but rather make it seem as though this fellow is not rooted in the faith that's why he is going through hard times. That's ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 3rd SEPTEMBER 2025 HIS MERCIES, COMPASSION AND FAITHFULNESS Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (NIV) God's mercies, compassion and faithfulness are integral part of His nature and character. You cannot separate mercies, compassion and faithfulness from God. They are inherent in Him; they are part of His constituents. When God demonstrates His mercies, compassion and faithfulness towards us He is just being Himself, He is not really doing anything more than His usual. On the contrary, He cannot express Himself when there is no one to receive His mercies, compassion and faithfulness.  We are not consumed because God has mercies, compassion and faithfulness in Himself.  His mercies means even though we go on the wrong path or do wrong He is able to forgive, show us love and direct us to the right pa...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd SEPTEMBER 2025 WHEN YOU RISE THEY WILL COME Isaiah 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. (KJV) Often being passionate and desirous we wish people would come into God's light that we carry, but this is not always the case. They don't always come. Maybe you have been there, where you wish people would come to the light you carry.  The Bible says in Isaiah 60:3 "And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising." If you shine so brightly they will come to your light, if you rise they will come to identify with your rising. What does this mean? It means results make the difference. Most people, especially the world only recognize and identify with people based on their results not their noise. No one will come to you if you are struggling or have no answer or solution. But when you rise up and stand strong they will come even wit...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st SEPTEMBER 2025 YOUR SACRIFICE OF PRAISE Hebrews 13:15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise —the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. (NIV) One of the responsibilities of a priest is to offer sacrifices. In the old testament the priests offered the blood of animals as sacrifice for sins or offering to God.  The old testament High priests were selected from among the Levites to offer sacrifices.  Hebrews 5:1 Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. In the new testament we don't offer sacrifice for sins because Jesus offered Himself once and for all as the ultimate sacrifice for sins. That doesn't mean we the testament priests don't offer sacrifice. One of the sacrifices we offer to God is the sacrifice of praise, and we do this through the Lord Jesus C...
