BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 31st JULY 2025 SACRIFICE CHANGES NARRATIVE 2 Kings 3:27 Then he took his firstborn son, who was to succeed him as king, and offered him as a sacrifice on the city wall. The fury against Israel was great; they withdrew and returned to their own land. (NIV) Sacrifice changes narrative. Sacrifice is giving or offering to God something of great value, relevance and high cost; it is an exchange for something greater or use to make a great demand of God. Sacrifice is also define as what you give or offer to your fellow man that is beyond your natural ability, you do it not because you are able but because it is of high necessity and has high stakes that you could not not offer it.   God looks a sacrifice, He regards sacrifice. If one who doesn't love God offered a great sacrifice in the sight of God it could still change the narrative.  The Israelites fought against Moab and were defeating them until the king of Moab sacrif...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 30th JULY 2025 LIFE IS NOT DEFINED BY WHAT YOU HAVE Luke 12:15 Speaking to the people, he went on, "Take care! Protect yourself against the least bit of greed. Life is not defined by what you have, even when you have a lot." (MSG) So many people pride themselves in what they have. They so glory in what they have that what they have have them. When they start talking it won't take long before they start telling you what and what they have and have achieved. They want you to know so you can define their value by them, and respect them because of what they have. But the Lord Jesus said "Life is not defined by what you have, even when you have a lot." Don't be like those who measure people with things. For example if you were invited to an event, the moment you gets in they would examine your dressing if it's expensive or not. Some would even go as far as to check the kind of car you came in with. These ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th JULY 2025 SEIZE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO SOW Ecclesiastes 11:6 Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well. (NIV) No one reaps without first sowing. Knowingly or unknowingly we all reap what we sow. A farmer does not reap just because he cleared up a piece of land. He only reaps if he sows.  Our theme scripture instructs us to sow in the morning and in the evening. You don't know what may happen if one would fail, or both succeeds.   Sowing in this context implies investing. Invest your time, knowledge and resources on the things you belief in. And learn to invest in many ventures. Seize every opportunity to invest; to make progress, make money or make a difference. You don't have all the time in the world, the opportunities that come to you must not slip away from you; seize them. Don't say...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th JULY 2025 IT HAS TO COST YOU 2 Samuel 24:24 But the king replied to Araunah, "No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing." So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen and paid fifty shekels of silver for them. (NIV) Sincere giving costs. A giving that would meet need is most likely to cost you. Not everyone is excited about giving for the things of the Kingdom or to help another man because sincere giving cost. If you give sincerely according to your ability it would cost you, and it has to. A giving that would make a difference is likely to cost you.  Some people are only comfortable to give what cost them nothing. They give when it doesn't have any effect on them. When you give sincerely and tangibly it leaves a space for God to fill. King David knew this too well. When he wanted to make a sacrifice to God the man on whose land he would m...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 27th JULY 2025 LET NOTHING DAINT YOUR JOY Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV) There are things or attitude that daint joy. Attitude like hatred, malice, envy, bitterness, jealousy, depression, inferiority and the likes. Don't allow such things in your heart. All of these proceeds from the mind.  The Word instructs us to rejoice in the Lord and it says it again, rejoice. And that's because of what joy means to our spirit. Our spirit functions with joy; joy is the fuel, inspiration and ability of our inner self. Without the expression of joy we cannot express the good God has deposited in our spirit.  You have to protect your joy for a proper functioning and activeness of your inner self; sadness disstabilises your spirit. There are revelations you cannot catch if your joy is not full, there are spiritual things you cannot receive if your joy is dainted. Let nothing daint your joy....

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 26th JULY 2025 DANCE AND CELEBRATE BEFORE THE LORD 2 Samuel 6:14,16 Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the LORD with all his might, As the ark of the LORD was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, she despised him in her heart. (NIV) King David so danced before the Lord that his wife Michal despised him. Think about a king dancing so profusely not regarding his crown and the perception of the people with him. That's how a man who is overwhelmed with God's presence, blessings and glory praises God. When you praise God praise Him from your heart, if you are inspired to lift up your hands lift them, if you are inspired to shake your body shake it, if you are inspired to jump and dance do it without regarding the people around and your reputation.  There is a glory that would come on you that will inspire you to ju...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th JULY 2025 YOU HAVE AN INHERITANCE Colossians 1:12 giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; (NIV) When we say we have inheritance is not only spiritual inheritance which we will receive when we get to heaven but also right here on earth -- physical possessions as inheritance. The first important factor to enjoying your inheritance here on earth is recognition and acknowledgment with thanks. If you don't recognize through the Word that God has given you an inheritance you stand no chance of enjoying it. If you recognize your inheritance in Christ then acknowledge it before God with thanks. Let us read our opening scripture again. Colossians 1:12 giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; Another important factor to enjoy your inheritance is your knowledge and understanding of the Word of His Grace...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 24th JULY 2025 FINISH THE RACE Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me —the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. (NIV) When athletes get into a competitive race they don't win unless they finish the race and compete according to the rules. For everyone of us there is a race marked out, which we must run and finish. The Christian journey is a race. In our opening verse Apostle Paul said "my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me..." The race and the task is one and the same. The task is to testify to the good news of God’s grace. And that simply means the good things that came through the Gospel of Jesus.  Some people started out well on the race but get distracted along the way and eventually get knocked out. Now they are spectators and on-lookers, they run co...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd JULY 2025 NEVER LIVE IN FEAR 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (KJV) God doesn't want us to live in fear. Many times in the scriptures He says fear not. He knows you could be faced with circumstances or oppositions that may make you afraid, so He instructs you to fear not. Fear is a spirit and works directly against faith. You can't have faith and fear together. If you are afraid your faith is not active, if your faith is active fear won't stay with you. Fear paralyses ability, courage and wisdom.  The Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Instead of being fearful, walk rather in God's power, love and sound mind. You cannot combine fear and love. He that fears is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love d...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 22nd JULY 2025 TALK TO THINGS Mark 11:13-14 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard him say it. (NIV) The Lord Jesus spoke to a tree "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." The tree understood Jesus' words and heeded to what He said. The Lord Jesus not only spoke to people with authority but also talked to diseases, deaf ears, dumb tongue, blind eyes, trees and things. And they all obeyed Him.  One time, hungry He went toward a fig tree, hoping to get fruit from it. But when He found no fruit on it He cursed it to die.  Mark 11:13-14 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was no...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 21st JULY 2025 PROPHESY AS COMMANDED Ezekiel 37:7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. (NIV) Most often when we pray to God concerning a problem He gives us the Word to prophesy. He inspires and puts His Word into our heart to prophesy. It is therefore important that you listen to His voice or inspiration to prophesy when you pray.  When Ezekiel found himself in the midst of a dire situation, though it was a vision it was the reality of the people of Israel at the time. When he expected God to do something about the situation God commanded him to prophesy and he prophesied as commanded. God works through our prophecy to bring about changes and answers. Don't be reluctant to prophesy when inspired or commanded by the Holy Spirit to do so. Prophesy as commanded.  Apostle Paul instructed the young Timothy to recall the pro...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 20th JULY 2025 GROW IN HIS GRACE 2 Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (NIV) God has already given you the required grace, but how much of grace you walk in and enjoy is dependent on your personal spiritual growth. The grace in your life increases as you grow spiritually. And the Word urges us to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Grace came by Jesus. Knowledge of Jesus is knowledge of grace. Hence, to grow in grace one needs only to grow in the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ our Lord. And the knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus is abundantly available in the Holy scriptures. We only need to give ourselves to study and live in the Word. How much growth you attain all depend on you. How much grace you walk in all depends on your growth. Grow some more and grace will be multiplied unto you.  2 Peter 1:2 Gra...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 19th JULY 2025 WALK IN HIS GRACE John 1:16-17 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (NIV) Everyone of us has received grace yet not many of us walk in it and enjoy its blessings and advantage. Grace was given for a purpose; to change our life and living standards. Grace has exalted us above the natural realm, way or standard of life, but unless we acknowledge this and deliberately walk in it we shall be no different from the world. Choose to walk in His grace.  Out of His fullness, that is, out of everything Jesus got we have received grace to walk in. We have received grace to walk in His wisdom, we have received grace to walk in His glory, we have received grace to walk in His power, dominion and authority. And we have received grace and truth, that is, Divinity and His realities. This is why Jesus came, a...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 18th JULY 2025 WALK IN HIS POWER Matthew 28:18-19 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (KJV) When the Lord Jesus walked this earth He demonstrated the power of God; He walked in God's power as He healed the sick, cleansed the lepers, cast our devils and raised the dead. When He was done with His earthly ministry prior to His ascension He said "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore..."  He sent us with His power; He expects us to walk in His power. As we go about preaching the Gospel demonstrating the power of God is unnegotiable. Very few would believe if our words are not backed with power. 1 Corinthians 2:4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spiri...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 17th JULY 2025 GOD WHO JUSTIFIES THE UNGODLY Romans 4:5 However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. (NIV) Think upon this above verse we just read. God who justifies the ungodly, their faith credited as righteousness. A religious concept believes God condemns the ungodly, but the truth of the Gospel says no, God justifies the ungodly. God who hates ungodliness and sin, how then could He justify the sinner? It's because God presented Christ as a sacrificial payment for their sins, so when a sinner believes Jesus' death for his sins and His resurrection for his justification, he is set free from sin. Romans 3:25-26 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood —to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished — ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 16th JULY 2025 TRAIN YOURSELF TO BE GODLY 1 Timothy 4:7-8 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, TRAIN YOURSELF TO BE GODLY. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. (NIV) Godliness in this above scripture means practicing godliness. It means spiritual practise or spiritual exercise. Physical exercise means exercising the body. Spiritual exercise means exercising your spirit.  GOOD NEWS TRANSLATION of 1 Timothy 4:8 says "Physical exercise has some value, but spiritual exercise is valuable in every way, because it promises life both for the present and for the future." Exercise your spirit! When we exercise our physical body we keep it fit and strong. The same happens to our spirit when we engage in spiritual exercise, we keep our spirit fit and strong. Spiritual exercise involves; studying th...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 15th JULY 2025 REFUSE TO SEE THE WIND Matthew 14:30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" (NIV) Peter walked on water like Jesus until he saw the wind and began to sink. The same wind was against Jesus yet He continued to walk on the water. Peter began to sink not really because of the wind but because he fixed his eyes on it. He saw the wind (he observed it and contemplated what might happen) and became afraid and began to sink. In life mind what you observe; mind what you give attention to, it could influence you. Matthew 14:25-27 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It’s a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid." When Jesus allayed their fears, Peter asked Him for permissi...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 14th JULY 2025 ...BUT BECAUSE YOU ARE WILLING 1 Peter 5:2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them —not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; (NIV) In the world people carry out their duty of work because they must, not because they are passionate about it. People try to carry out their job responsibility as best as they can because of the pay not because they love to. The same attitude has crept into Christian ministry and leadership even though it ought not to be so.  Apostle Peter wrote to the church admonishing the leaders to shepherd the flock of God because they are willing. 1 Peter 5:2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them —not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve;  As a Christian leader it ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 13th JULY 2025 INTEGRITY OF HEART Psalms 78:71-72 from tending the sheep he brought him to be the shepherd of his people Jacob, of Israel his inheritance. And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them. (NIV) God is about people. How you treat people is important to God. At whatever level, capacity or setting you have the opportunity to lead people God is interested how you lead and relates with them. The Bible says that David shepherd the people of Israel with integrity of heart.  Integrity of heart means an undivided and upright heart. Every child of God should have such a heart towards those they serve and lead. David's heart was not only upright towards God but also towards people. As a Christian leader in whatever capacity integrity of heart is required. It is required of you to serve and lead those under your care with an undivided heart, love and commitment. If you have integrity of he...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 12th JULY 2025 TURN YOUR FEARS INTO PRAYER 2 Chronicles 20:3 Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the LORD, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. (NIV) During the time Jehoshaphat was king over Judah three nations came together to wage war against him and the people of Judah. They mustered together a great army the Israelites could never withstand, Jehoshaphat alarmed, filled with fear resolved to inquire of the Lord, and even declared a fast. Instead of allowing his fears to overwhelm him he turned his fears into prayer. And that's what we ought to do in the face of great opposition. Let us read 2 Chronicles 20:2-4, Some people came and told Jehoshaphat, "A vast army is coming against you from Edom, from the other side of the Dead Sea. It is already in Hazezon Tamar" (that is, En Gedi). Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the LORD, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. The people of Judah came toge...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 11th JULY 2025 HE TASTED DEATH FOR YOU Hebrews 2:9 But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. (NIV) Jesus' death and resurrection was for man. He tasted death for everyone; He tasted death for you so that you shouldn't. Death and the fear of death should not scare you anymore. Hebrews 2:14-15 tells us "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." The Lord Jesus has defeated the devil who had the power of death and has given you and I the victory, so that we should never again be afraid of death. You have power over death...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 10th JULY 2025 SEE JESUS IN ALL THINGS Hebrews 2:9 But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. (NIV) Our perception and what we see in circumstances and situations matters. If we don't align our perception with God's we see bad and disadvantage even in good circumstances. Learn to see Jesus in every situation, challenge or circumstance. It does make all the difference.  Apostle was arrested, chained and put in prison, but he saw and found good in it. He saw the Gospel advancing through the circumstances of his arrest and imprisonment.  Philippians 1:12-13 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 9th JULY 2025 GOOD NEWS; A RESULT OF GRACE Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me —the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. (NIV) The Apostle Paul in our theme verse says the Lord Jesus gave him the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace. Good news came from the grace of God. Good news is a result of grace. But what is grace?  Titus 2:11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. The only Person that appeared and offered salvation to all people is Jesus Christ. In a simple definition, Jesus Christ is grace. And by extension grace is Jesus Christ (Divinity) in humanity. And this is the Good News from which all other good news of health, peace, prosperity, victory and success springs. Apostle Paul emphasized the capacity of grace. He said by the grace of God I am what I am...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 8th JULY 2025 PRAY UNTIL YOU FIND PEACE Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (NIV) The Word admonishes us not be worried or anxious about anything, and asks us to pray and present our requests to God.  The first answer to pray is peace not what you ask for or pray about. What you pray about or ask for is in the peace that you received. So when you pray look for peace first.  Circumstances might push you to the wall but you must resist getting overwhelmed and worried by them. Instead of giving place to anxiety pray until you find peace within. If you have pressure and unrest without only peace from within can subdue it.  The Bible says do not be worried about anything, but in every situation pray, ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 7th JULY 2025 ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE Mark 9:23 "’If you can’?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes." (NIV) The Lord Jesus said if you can believe, everything is possible for the one who believes. He meant it. He doesn't exaggerate. If He said so, then it is true; everything and anything is possible.  Where does the power that makes anything possible come from? Not from man. That's the problem, when we find ourselves in a situation we measure ourselves with it and doubt if it could be possible. Yeah of course, we worry because we think we can't handle the situation. But if we would measure the situation with God we would be at peace; free of anxiety and worries.  Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." It is through God that we get things done. All things are possible for us through God. And that by ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th JULY 2025 PRAYER IS THE ANSWER Acts 12:4-5 After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover. So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. (NIV) We will draw a lesson and exposition from the account Peter's arrest and the church's reaction to it. Peter was arrested and put in prison by king Herod, he intended to bring him out after the Passover for trial and then execute him. But the church had an answer to his plan, and it was prayer. The Bible says "...but the church was earnestly praying to God for him." Before king Herod arrested Peter he had arrested James and have him killed. He succeeded to kill him because the church didn't pray. The church learned their lesson, so when he arrested Peter they resolved to prayer. Acts 12:1-3 It was abo...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 5th JULY 2025 DO IT IN WORD  Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (NIV) The above verse of the scriptures clearly implies that we can do things in words. It says, and whatever you do in word or deed. Let us read it without "or deed." Let us read thus (And whatever you do in word, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.) You can do things with your words. Your words are potent because you were born of the Word of God. There is energy and ability in your spoken word to cause to happen whatever you say.  Doing things in word is doing things in faith. Faith has to do with His Word not your word. That means unless you speak His Word or speak in agreement with His Word it will not produce positive result. You do things through God's Word in your mouth.  The Bible tells ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th JULY 2025 GOD'S WORD IS GOD'S ESSENCE John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (NIV) There are people who say we will find out about God when we get to heaven. But God's Word has already revealed everything He intends for us to know, and whatever else He want us to know in heaven will be revealed in heaven through His Word. God's Word is God's essence. Some wish they could see God and really express themselves to Him. If you were with God physically you would still relate with Him by His Word. Jesus' disciples walked the street with Him yet it was through the Word they knew Him and related with Him. The scriptures (the written word) is meant to direct us to the living Word. If you read the written word and not find the living Word and come to Him you have not read the written word. John 5:39-40 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in t...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 3rd JULY 2025 ONLY ONE GOD Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. (NIV) Man will always want a god. All through the history of man, even through Bible days man had always wanted a god. Deep the down in the inner recesses of man he knew there is God but doesn't know what He is like and how to reach Him. So man through history has represented the god he could conceive in the form of create images and other things.  The God of heaven was known only to the nation of Israel but not to other nations, yet other nations sought a god to worship because they knew there must be a god. So they made idols in different forms as they deemed okay and worshipped it.  1 Chronicles 16:26 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. There is only one God my brothers and sisters, the God who made the heavens and the earth. He is our God and Father.  Part of the law of Moses reads "H...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd JULY 2025 WALK IN THE WAY OF LOVE Ephesians 5:1-2 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (NIV) In our previous article we learnt that love is the most excellent way to live life. Today's topic says "walk in the way of love." This calls for action. It's not enough to know or understand the way of love, unless we walk in it there is no blessing.  Our theme scripture admonishes us to follow God's example and walk in the way of love. God walked in the way of love when He gave His Son for us. Christ walked in the way of love when He willingly gave Himself up as the sacrificial payment for our sins. Walking in the way of love calls for action.  In following God's example of love you will have to act your love. The way of love is the way of giving. Every time love com...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st JULY 2025 THE MOST EXCELLENT WAY TO LIVE 1 Corinthians 12:31 Now eagerly desire the greater gifts. And yet I will show you the most excellent way. (NIV) There are different ways people live their lives and it is based on the different information they have received and imbibed over the years. Some ways may seem good but the most excellent way to live life is love.  Love is excellent. Living a life of love is the most excellent way to live. Apostle Paul by the Spirit says yet I will show you the most excellent way. Very few people know and live by the most excellent way. Only a life lived in the light of love pleases God.  The Bible tells us what love is and what it is not in the book of 1 Corinthians 13:1,4-8, and it says "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not pr...
