BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 8th MARCH 2025 WISDOM IS ORDAINED FOR YOUR GLORY 1 Corinthians 2:6-7 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: (KJV) It's interesting that God has ordained wisdom for our glory. What does this mean? It means wisdom is God's prerequisite for us to experience His glory in our lives. If we are to experience His glory in our lives we must speak His wisdom. And God's word is God's wisdom.  The wisdom referred in our theme verse that would bring glory is the word or wisdom about Christ's death for man's sin and His resurrection for man's justification and what it means to man. 1 Corinthians 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of Go...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 7th MARCH 2025 LIVE BECAUSE OF HIM John 6:57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. (NIV) The Lord Jesus lived because of the Father and He said the one who feeds on Him will live because of Him. Living because of the Father meant He lived for the Father. He said and did what the Father would. He preached in Capernaum, Jerusalem, Samaria because the Father would. He healed the sick, cleansed the lepers, raised the dead, cast out devils, preach the Kingdom, forgave sins and showed love in the place of the Father; He did exactly what the Father would. Today, the Lord Jesus charge us who feed on Him to live because of Him. We shouldn't live for ourselves, do things as we want but as He wants. We are to speak and do things in His stead, doing what He would. And that actually tells that our life is not ours but His. If we live for ourselves we will be j...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th MARCH 2025 IN THE FATHER'S NAME John 5:43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. (NIV) The Lord Jesus said He came in the Father's Name. But what exactly does that mean? It means He came to live in His Father's stead. He was the representation of the Father; He was to the world and to man who the Father is to them -- God, creator and savior. He said what the Father would say and did what the Father would do. When He is present you don't ask for the Father; He was the exact representation of the Father. The works He did was in the Father's Name. A name actually means all that one is. So Jesus came in the Father's Name, representing all that the Father is. And did works only the Father could do.  John 10:25 Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, Tal...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 5th MARCH 2025 A LAWYER WITH THE FATHER 1 John 2:1-2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father —Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. (NIV) Jesus did not only die to free us from our sins but He is today also our advocate (lawyer) with the Father against sin. It's important to note that Jesus is not our advocate to the Father or against the Father but with the Father. To be our advocate to the Father means He speaks to the Father for us, defending us against the Father's judgment, but that's not the case. And He is neither our advocate against the Father. He is not arguing with the Father and giving Him reasons to not punish us for our sins. The Bible says He is our advocate with the Father, that is a huge difference. Jesus is our advocate...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th MARCH 2025 SEE BEYOND NEEDS AND WANTS Matthew 6:25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? (NIV) If we would take this scripture into our hearts and act by it, it would make a whole lot of difference in our lives and give us peace like a river. All the turmoil, worries and agitation results from our needs and wants. The Lord Jesus asked "Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?" In other words "life is more than needs and wants." See and live beyond your needs and wants.  There are lot of people whose lives are all about their needs and wants. That's all they live for; they need this they go all out for it, they want that they go for it. Their lives is predominated and pre-dictated by their needs and wants. Don't allow your needs or wants...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 3rd MARCH 2025 WASHED, SANCTIFIED AND JUSTIFIED 1 Corinthians 6:11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (NIV) It is only in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God that we are washed, sanctified and justified. In Christ we have been washed, sanctified and justified because of what He has done for us. He shed His blood for us and washed away our sins in His blood. Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, Don't be among those who say we are all sinners, no! We are not all sinners. We who are born again the Bible says we have been washed, sanctified and justified. We couldn't be the same anymore. Of course we ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd MARCH 2025 CARRY EVERYONE ALONG 2 Timothy 2:20 In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. (NIV) This scripture implies in a way that everyone is not at the same level, and that all are useful in their respective ways. In a large house we find articles not only of gold and silver but also of wood and clay. This tells us that small and great people have a common place in life. Friction comes when we try to separate small and great people into separate class. They are both needed. Gold as well as wood is needed for their respective purpose.  If you are a leader at any setting or level learn to carry everyone along. Everyone has a place, and in most cases they are irreplaceable. If we force to replace them we would distort the whole setting. Everyone may not be your liking but if they are under your leadership you have the re...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st MARCH 2025 THEY ARE ALL USEFUL 2 Timothy 2:20 In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. (NIV) The scripture above just states that everything and everyone doesn't serve the same purpose. Some serve greater purpose than others but they are all very useful in their own capacity. At times we tend to despise the seemingly less important things not realizing that their usefulness cannot be omitted.  In the church we all do not have the same responsibility, and some people do not even have responsibility at all yet we are all very useful. Those who preach are not more important than those who sing, nor is either more important than those who listen. They are all equally useful in their own capacity and purpose. Our individual roles may fulfill distinctive purposes but none is less important to the other.  1 Corinthians 12...
